I don't even know how to speak to this Gary. Arctic Circles, Shenandoah, Penguin Dance, Cloud Surfing are just phenomenal. I didn't know anything about Mac and the struggles you, Moira, and your family faced until Mac passed away in January. I've been a fan of the Lt. Dan Band, your work for our service people and 1st responders, and the Gary Sinise Foundation for some time. I have been mesmerized for the last hour in 40 minutes by this podcast and want to thank you and Kristen for sharing all this with us. Though this is just a glimpse, you guys really shined a wonderful light on who Mac was. Please know you, your family, and everyone at the Gary Sinise Foundation are in my prayers and I will continue to make the little contribution I can in donations and spreading the word of your unwavering and outstanding work. God bless you.

I've been a fan of Gary Sinise for many years, with one of my favorite movies, Apollo 13 he was in. When I started hearing about his involvement with the Wounded Warrior Project with his Foundation, that endeared him to my heart even greater because I come from a family whose men have all been Vets for four generations. Thank you, Gary and Mac, for all you do to help our unsung heroes.

Hi Gary. Great Podcast and Tribute to Mac. I suspect he was at Peace after accomplishing the Album etc. He did more in the time he had left than most in a lifetime just Bloody Awesome, Outstanding and Excellent. 😅 I myself on a journey which is pretty difficult and would really like to get off Morphine but only thing keeps pain at Bay.😮 Having had 2 x Back Fusions and Neck stabilisation I know how Moria and Mac felt during all there trials and tribulations. On top of all that I was paralyzed in 2019 lost use below belly button no feeling either happened whilst at work. Had to give work up and most other things and can now no longer work at all man I miss work. 😂 Anyhoo love watching what you. do via yaself and the Foundation just outstanding I admire ya dedication to the Mission no greater than to your fellow man and Women. Keep smiling like I do as we all know someone worse off than I. Keep being you Mate the World may not no it but it needs you in it.😅😂❤❤
    Cheers Nick (outa New Zealand)

I am so sad that his son and wife were so sick. Then he lost his son, dealt with his wife’s cancer too. Their pain also Gary pain. It takes a while to recover from the pain. It does not totally go away. I lost my son when he was 39. He was married, and it seems the mom who has known him the longest; is less relevant. He was having trouble breathing. It was for several weeks. He went too and emergency room, where the doctor said he probably, at his age, just influenza. They only did an EKG, and the routine tests. Not long after that he was at work, and he JOKINGLY said “my chest hurts. I probably am going to die.” Not log after that day, he got up early, and went downstairs. He took asthma medicine (thinking it was just his asthma,) and then just died. His wife came down to go to work, and found him. After that point, many of the young people, just did not understand that parents have pain too. Some, actually said so. That made it even more difficult. I know your and your wife’s pain. So sorry.
