Hi there! I am new to the trout game. What is your favorite single hook for 40 - 50 mm Minnows? I used the Cultiva S-55 in size 8. But they bend out quite easily and I am not happy with the hook up ratio nor hook to land ratio. Any tipps? Thank you very much!
I also use Cultiva S-55 sizes 6, 8, and 10, and have no complaints. If there's no problem with the way the lure swims, using size 6 may increase its strength and improve your catch rate.
@@lurecafe Thanx! Do you use the same hook size for the belly and rear hook? I was thinking about using a bigger size on the belly and smaller size at the rear since the hooks hook themselfes from time to time. What do you think abou those hooks with braided loop as a hook eye?
I like to keep the hook sizes the same on both ends as much as possible, so I adjust them by changing the size of the split ring. I don't often use hooks that use braided line in the loop. They're a bit expensive, so I think it's better to use cheaper hooks and replace them frequently.

マグサーボGS-5のスプール30㎜径とは知りませんでした。
自分が持ってるのはSSｰ10なので34㎜径です。
意外にも小径なんですよね。丸型のGS1000，2000なんかもφ30なのでスプールさえ替えたらかなりフィネス性能が高くなります😊

マグサーボ。私も持っています。どのタイプだったかな〜箱にしまってあるので忘れてしまった。42年前くらい前の中2の時に買いました。そのまま寝かしてしまい、ほぼ新品状態です😅
今新品状態なら逆に価値ありますね😊
