It was interesting to hear other deleted scenes from this franchise that are not the popular ones. Even though it was made 3 years ago, most, if not all, entries were pretty interesting to listen to.

It's a sunny day, so it's probably hot, hence Patrick helps put sunscreen on Sandy. Friends do that at the beach, it's not weird.
Honestly what we know about spongebob and how he reacts to the picture existing, him kissing gary is absolutely in character both for having done it while under the influence of Goofy Goober ice cream and being extremely ashamed of it after the fact. It's also something that would be extremely funny out of context and extremely horrifying if you've given it even a little bit of thought, which is naturally something Patrick would never do.

i like to think that the cut live action bit from the first movie was reincorporated in the second movie. we got to see sandy being a flat out realistic squirrel in that movie instead.
I can imagine Nickelodeon and the writers of spongebob being geniunely shocked if Spongebob didn't win. Hell they probably tried to rig it since then gave more effort to the Spongebob ending compared to the other two.
Considering how Spongebob has been given sequels to TV episodes I would love to see a prequel episode made from the deleted scenes from Squilliam Returns.
The close up of SpongeBob in scaredy pants was actually the original ending. It was on the storyboard. Meaning it was too scary for kids, not a comedic timing thing.
Another Thing regarding The Inmates of Summer, I'm pretty sure in the german Dub, they've changed the Voice Actor for that purple Guy at some Point. At least I think that he sounded way different before
