I love when we get to hear snippets about Hyuk and Seok's upbringing. I love even more how the SB staff goes about creating low stakes, casual conversations that the boys feel comfortable sharing in! Michelle and the team really are gems ❤
I love it when Seok and Hyuk talk about things from North Korea, it's always pretty interesting as someone who is born in America😭 also, Hyuk looked so cute this ep💖
I love these little conversations about how they grew up in NK. Just simple conversation about life in a different country. I love that they are comfortable with sharing. So sweet.
2:33 that dish is also available in South Korea. Oddly for the North Korean duo their bandmates with the last name of Lee becomes Ri in their North Korean language.
okay this might be a very stupid question but I am hoping someone will answer me kindly ... but as north korean defectors who are now south korean citizens, are they exempt from SK military service? or will they have to enlist?
@@chalsyyy Its just confusing because I understand that NK defectors are granted full citizenship to SK. And all SK men with citizenship must complete military service. But I wonder if there is a legal exemption or not because tbh that must be such an actual mindfuck if they have to. They are already discriminated against in SK society so I only imagine that in the military it must be even more intense. Or an assest? Idk.

謎の国でもっと知りたい。北朝鮮の民主化にはもっと情報発信して、世界中の人が知る事が重要だと思う😊
It's not mysterious. It's a dictatorship. Simple Google searches will tell you all you need to know.
