How does this place compare to silver lake in your opinion?
The sand at Little Sahara is full of fine dirt.
It's a heavier sand. You will hook up a little more than silver lake. Silver lake is lighter due to that nice sugar sand it has.
Expect to change gearing a tad.
No directional traffic at little Sarah which some think is good and some think isn't so good.
I only had one slightly close call. No big deal. The flags helped us see each other before any collision.
It's wide open. The hills are steeper than Test Hill. And the overall size is about 5 times larger than silver lake.
I'm building a 93 CR250 right now. Cool to see that 95 woth the camel supercross graphics that pulled up on you guys. Still a great looking bike!

Thats what i learned how to ride on was in sugar sand. Yea it sucks when you wreck but it's a decently soft landing. Killer vid man them bike are some beautiful builds.
Ain't no sugar sand at Little Sahara. That is straight up dirt sand.
Only Sleeping Bear and Silver Lake have that light sugar sand.

Dave confirmed my suspicion from listening to your bike through out the whole video. It just sounded flat and buzzy, which is a lean condition The dyno tuning only got your main right. Sounds like Dave really knows his stuff!

Did you not install the cotter pin I usually put a zip tie around the open end of the cotter pin to make sure it doesn’t pop out

Find out why your 250R overheated, bump the jetting up. For example let say your at 180 main jet, bump to a 182 main . At least you won’t blow the top end. Ring ding ding ding ding.

Love both the 250r’s. Does going bog bore cause reliability issues. The 389 already overheated and you blew yours first trip. That 4 stroke in front of 389 was really throwing roost...what is it?

my accident that almost killed me i lost my tire but i was wide open 6th gear on the railroad tracks on an atc250r
scary shit bro! i crashed in a mile long dark tunnel once on live tracks. with no light. on a 1995 rm125 when i was younger.

@@just_in_time5518 just got the trike rode it once i had a leaking tire around the bead so i slimed it and went for a little ride to work the slime with no helmet and on the way back i stopped and did a hole shot drag raced the wind hit 6th gear was wide open and bam hub and tire came off like yours did and i did a triple lindy flipped rolled and twisted hit my head right on the tracks and crushed my skull and broke my arm , toe , t1 vertebrae , was active tracks a train came and was on opposite tracks thank god he stopped and when he touched me i woke up said i was ok and walked home

Yes it sounds like you are geared to high and Mx bikes are perfect for the dunes you just ha e to out your time in and lower your tire pressure from what you would run on the Mx track. Great videos.

You will overheat anytime you have any new coolant that was put in from about scratch!! They will have an air pocket. Always ride-drive it for a couple miles or 5 in cars.And simply,grab a rag,n let that air,and, steam out of that babby!! Goes for about any high performance quad-bike-vehicle for sure.Nobody told me this.And when my Father and I, built his Factory Five Cobra.From the ground up.Accept for a new crate motor.And paint.The son of a Bitch almost blew up. Good thing I was watching gauges and we didn't get out on the big road(Not 4 lane)and it was broken in.From,I think,ATK engines.Somewhere in Texas.Where they go big on everything,from Horsepower to Titties !!Hope this helps u down the road buddy.Ps.Trying to buy an ESR 310 kit. My 1st time at LS, I lost my bottom shock bolt and the spacers. Was lucky enough to bump into Pikes Peak champion John Stallworth from Power Playground Racing. He was there on a sick Banshee of course with one of his sponsored riders; a chick riding an all red, full Laeger t pin front end Pro Trax 250R. They gave me the parts I needed and were cool as fuck. I am would say he could have built a Banshee or a 250r from the parts in his box trailer.
