You amaze me EVERY SINGLE WEEK! I appreciate that you don’t waste our time just repainting items. You truly provide unique, inspiring, beautiful ideas. There is more usable content in your 24 minute videos than any others I’ve found. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity, you really are the best!

Hi Sherry! Since I follow each of you, this collaborative project is such a great idea for all three of you as designers/creators! Loved each of your projects but the IOD picture mat had the wow factor for me. The "box" clock was another eye-catcher and the knife block stand was genius. As always, thanks for the great inspirations! Now heading over to see what your colab partners have done with their projects.

Sherry, you never cease to amaze and delight with your creative ideas. The basket birdhouse is so cute, the book files are genius. I have a similar clock and while I love my clock I will keep your idea in mind. But, my favorite this week is the IOD matte. Absolutely beautiful and definitely one I will make.

Sherry, my friend, you have done it this time. EVERY ONE OF these projects was a jaw-dropper to me. The old books hiding appliance manuals were amazingly ingenious, 💡💡💡and the humble canisters became superstars 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟 with the addition of mod podged napkins and painted pulls!! How do you keep doing this week after week???? I was enthralled every minute of this video. Well done 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️

You are the hardest working DIYer that I’ve seen. You go through great lengths to repurpose and redesign everything that you find. It’s amazing! The picture mat with the IOD transfer is “out of this world”! Spectacular! And the round cans pop with that beautiful blue napkin. Only a truly gifted artist would have thought to trim the lids. You get 5 stars from me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was so thrilled to see 3 of my very most favorite creators collaborating together. I have now watched all 3 videos. I have to say Sherry, your video was definitely the most creative of the 3. I also felt as though you described the collaboration the best. Then to top it off with such lovely mentions of their channels and the things they create - such a class act! ❤ I loved everyone's projects but when you started your first project I noticed I had leaned forward in my seat with interest and excitement. The IOD mat was an absolute show stopper! Wow! I definitely see why you wouldn't want to part with it. Thank you so much for sharing. I hope you all get together again in the future.

Sherry, those book upcycles are very cute and useful. There is an easier way to remove the book block from the cover. Just about any search for "make a junk journal from a book" will get you the easier technique, "Nik the Booksmith" on YT is a good resource for book stuff.
The transfer on mat is new and cute!

Thank you for sharing your creativity with all of us, you have so many wonderful ideas and I’m glad I found your channel!!
3 weeks ago I bought/moved into my very first house! It’s a precious little farm property in the middle of nowhere (no joke, my moving here brought the town population up to a staggering 155 people!🤣❤️).
I’m mostly unpacked, but now my “nesting” instincts have kicked into overdrive and I want to make everything cute and decorated!!
But my account/savings is flatlined from the purchase and move (totally worth it!), so I want to start thinking even more outside my usual DIY box and I’m only allowing myself to decorate using the supplies that I already have and whatever hidden treasures I find around the property!
(Side note; I found an awesome rusted pulley, a dozen or so old rusty railroad spikes and about 15-20 rusty horseshoes yesterday-so if you, or anyone has some good ideas for those, I would absolutely LOVE and greatly appreciate hearing them!❤️Thank You Again!💖)
And I’m sorry for the super long comment!😆

Completely! wonderful! I hope and I pray and I try however, I have not been able to do all the things I used to and then share it all, because my darling daughter was the most artistic and creative one. Light of my life. We shared so much-and she was the one of my children that was the most creative, prolific and generous person. On the way to and from the hospital, for, about 19 years, 31/2 hours away from our home, constantly was needed slow-going, then traffic to beat the band and the getting ready, staying ready and working and waiting, we So I find comfort and easy to relate to art/creative things that she loved and worked for-mostly online, but one of the 3 brain surgeries finished off her hearing, for the most part. She just wore one, older hearing aid. There is someone else around here that needs new and stronger one's, too. The Dr. I used to work for was available to me by phone after such a long time had passed. He is an excellent diagnostician! Had a family practice and I did procedure for and with him and learned so much. He had started out being a Pharmacist! After a while, he felt like going to Medical School to become a GP. So to have a physician that knows so much about pharmaceuticals was a huge help- for the patients, for himself and for his office nurse, me! He still went on house calls, too and I was privileged as well as needed to do that. So I learned how to do everything from EKG, X-Rays, drawing blood, giving shots, helping in surgery, and did the interview when they 1st came in and took great notes. Then the Dr. would read them--if anything more was needed, I also did that! I counseled people and tried to be as friendly, smiling, open and professional at once. Guess it really prepared me. When I watch and listen to your videos, it calms me and I need that. Now, I am happy to see more of Teresa and Julie's works! I want to get back to all the things I love to do-all my life. You help because this is all I can handle just yet! But I am really looking forward to you, Teresa and Julie, when you 3 collaborate and also, definitely can stand alone! Wishing you all the best, Terri

    Hi Sherry,
I always enjoy your videos on how you reinvent your found treasures. In my kitchen displayed I have my grandmother's hand held beaters with wooden handles and chippy paint. I remember her using the one to mix the yeast in the warm milk to add to her Hungarian breads. She baked all in her very large Detroit Jewel oven. I have many of her kitchen tools with the wooden handles and one my mom and I could never figure out how to use it. Packed away in a box I have yet to find for my kitchen is my mom's Julia Child's cookbook and I believe it is the same one you have. I believe I saved my mom's World Atlas book, huge in size, same color and the book use used to keep photos in.
Last summer I bought many of the die cut wood cut outs and I believe I have the same leaves. I have yet to use any but, hope to soon. I almost have my crafting area finished from my move. I collect owls and I bought the owl die cuts. Did you know if you soak them in warm water, how they are made the layers come apart. As soon as they separate take them out, pat dry them with a cloth, lay them on a cloth with another cloth on top and a heavy book for a few hours to flatten them back out. I found this out by accident dropping one in my dish washing tub in my sink not knowing I dropped one and eventually 2 floated to the top. So, you get extras for $1.25.
Years ago I was involved in a bad car accident and I could not go to work, could not drive for awhile, I was super down. Temporarily I have my boyfriend a key to my apartment so if I was resting I did not have to race to the door. That was Fall 1991. I was laying in bed and first I heard a knock, then the door open. My boyfriend popped his head into my room to say on his way home he saw a cool wall clock on the curb and it had a piece of paper saying, "I need a home, I was made by the Amish and I still work". He said he out a battery in it and it is keeping good time. He said he has it on the kitchen counter. And he left. Sherry, the clock is your clock and I have never seen one like it but mine is a tad different but I believe yours may have been made by the Amish too. My clock is between a Kelly green and a garden green. The face is behind glass and the chip board face has the pink hearts like your's. My case goes down further with a shelf inside but part of the door that opens to the shelf is broken. For 20 years it hung in my living room wall where I lived and I kept thinking I would have the glass replaced and repaint the hearts in each corner like the orig glass but I never did. Then in 2019 I moved in with my mom and I did not want anyone to get hurt on the broken glass so I took it completely out and threw it away. I propped it up on a old table I had for years in my bedroom at my mom's and I put my owk collection in it. It has a nice tick when I would go to bed at night and my mom could not believe what great accurate time it keeps. My boyfriend passed away at age 48 from a heart attack 2 days after having a physical which included an EKG in order to play on a professional traveling basketball team. Now my mom passed away in 2021 and I was hoping to buy out my siblings half of the house but was unable to and I had to move out. I am now in a small 610 sqft apt built in 1940, registered with the historical society, not allowed to use nails or molly bolts so I have not hung the clock yet. I have it propped up on a vintage dough bench for now. My new little home is so tiny with not much closet space I have to tell myself all the time when I pass piles in the curb that I haven't any room. When I am not living in a sea of boxes and my place looks nice I hope to post photos of my place on Instagram and I will send you a photo of my clock.
Funny timing also, as I had never heard of Theresa's channel until I recd a notice that a IG friend and I follow Theresa. I clicked onti her posts for a minute as it was late and she does make beautiful things. I love that new chair she just purchased to put where her Christmas tree was. The chair is new but it is an elegant vintage style in a soft cream.
Last but not least, my mom's oldest brother loves going to estate sales and he picks up craft books for me all the time but a few months ago he picked up mini loaf pans but there are 4 and they are all hooked to a metal grid. The pans are not self stick and I believe they are aluminum and I do not use aluminum pots or bakeware any more. I do not want to donate these either to harm someone else's health if they do not know about the health risks. I have not thought about the loaf pans for months until your hanging in the kitchen with the belts. I quickly had an idea but of course I do not know how I would hang it but, maybe I could use each one as little Shadow boxes. Each box has a theme of the diff seasons. Spring Summer Winter Fall. Or holiday themes.
Well, as usual I have written another novel to you. You are the only one I write long notes too. Your DYIs always excite me and get my creative juices flowing. I am itching to start creating soon too. My creative juices retired since my mom passed away but I am joining a new church and right before Christmas they had a craft workshop for children and adults and I signed up for the woodworking class and my mind had a wonderful kick start to create. I had not planned on decorating or even putting up a tree this year because of sadness not being in my mom's home for the first time in 31 years for Christmas. But, my mom left me her entire set of furniture for the living room and bedroom and beautiful art work of the King's going to Jerusalem and I wanted to make my mom proud. I decorated in a small scale with mostly hand made ornaments and a few of tea light Christmas trees from the Dollar Tree. I used vintage books in red to give height to some decorations. I posted my decorated half on Instagram and rec'd very nice compliments even my toilet paper rolls snowflakes were a hit.
Have a wonderful weekend and stay warm. Blessings, Rebekah

I love your channel. You are so creative and do projects that aren't hard to recreate. I just wished you weren't so uncomfortable when you do your voice over. You kind of sound like Siri. I feel like you're so afraid of making a mistake. Just be you, talk to us like you talk to your family, if you stumble on your words, so be it... we all do sometimes. Keep up the creativeness and the beautiful upcycles.

So funny that I follow all 3 of you ladies and glad to know you are friends too!! My favorite was the flower transfers you framed with the quote but then you transformed the music box into a beautiful shelf planter! Your creativity always inspires me!!! Hope you can sell your strawberry canisters for a fun profit!! Blessings, Marcia

I just joined your Facebook, I have many things that I could show you, in response to your new video series. I live in my childhood home, and I have so many things my mom collected over the years, from everywhere, thrift stores, yard sales, antique shops, etc. I have picked some things up, too, that I have to get working on, but I don't know what to do with them. Oh, and my name over there is different...its a combination of my daughter's middle name and my middle name. They both start with L, that may show you who I am, over there.

I would have never upcycled the strawberry canisters, whether they were valuable or not. They were beautiful as is. I'm glad you changed your mind, and did the tin canisters instead.
