Sorry to hear about the recent losses to the raccoons. I learned a great deal about medaka from your videos. Glad you still maintain positivity and will continue with the journey. Kanpai!
Most of the Yozakura Juveniles made it. Most of the other lineages were taken. Especially the Top Shelf future prospects for next breeding season, since they were all in smaller containers. I should be able to sort them today. Thank you MedakaHead @marcuswhitmore6622 !
Well, you could build a structure to house the tubs. Like a shed kit without all the plywood panels. Then use cattle fencing or smaller to keep out the wildlife. Screened door. Like structure they use for Koi. OR use heavier grates in long sheets to cover a row with weights or some other means of locking down the grates. You can easily feed through the grates. You only need to lift them up when you are you doing a water change or something else.
I think I am going to secure the grates moving forward next season. I'll have to remove the smaller 5 to 10 gallon containers off the crates since all they did was tip them over to get to the Fish. Thanks MedakaHead @philcam9493 !
Ugh..can you put up a fence, screen room etc? Mine are in my poolcage...I know if I put them outside, if not raccoon, it would be herons or egrets.. Sorry for all that

Sorry for all that
Just going to keep them indoors for the Winter for now.
If medaka don't have stomachs they can't digest their food, so how do they get nourishment from their food?
I do not know the specifics. Please refer to Google.
