The monsoon weekend at COTA the first year was something else, but it was still a blast being there. Or the TMS Sunday where mist rolled in and didn't leave for 3 days in 2020.

Now in days I am not a big fan of weather delay's, but the only thing that I ain't concerned about weather is when the race gets past either halfway or the end of stage 2, which ever is the soonest.
The weather is always terrible for me, when I go to TMS.

The 2022 Daytona race when rain dumped on Turn 1, and cause the massive crash, could've been avoided if somebody had been watching the weather radar. Kind of like the app that came on my cellphone, plus several weather Internet sites that gives almost to the minute continuous update of meteorological conditions, such as rain. It is unfathomable to see that black cloud of rain in the video, and no one in NASCAR or the teams saw the rain coming towards the track.
Let me reiterate. It was 2022. Easy accessible cell and internet weather conditions updated to the minute.
NASCAR screwed the pooch on that one.
Or. NASCAR and the teams knew the race was coming, and rolled the dice believing they could get one lap in on the race, and maybe throw the red flag at Turn 3 or 4 just to appease the attending race fans, by providing at least one lap to hear the symphony of the engines going at full song. Instead it was a discordant cacophony of screeching tires and crashing metal.

you think nascars weathers crazy. look into supercross/motocross. and they race thru bout every bit of weather.

@@MMCS07because NASCAR is-for one- much more intelligent than that and two- a completely different type of racing. NASCAR doesn’t try (anymore that is) to race in wet conditions because it’s DANGEROUS. Motocross and Supercross do race in wet weather and it’s also dangerous- but they foolishly do so anyway at high risk to the safety of the riders.
THAT IS WHY THEY DON’T.
@@MMCS07 because the dirtbikes designed for rough wet gnarly conditions. nascar cup cars cant find traction on dry grass. for the safety and the sport im glad nascar dont race in rain. BUT. i think rain tires on the dry shorttracks would make the racing greater.
