    After running some AR45 pumps. I'd recommend a 1 inch proportioning valve , on your SH in order to get a 50/50 SH/water mixture along with 1inch hose feeding the pump in order maintain the full flow capacity of the diaphragm pump.

  • @HumbleBeast777
    @HumbleBeast777 3 года назад +1

    if you kept the hose 3/4" on your reel (just like on the output port of the P40) for the P40 wouldn't you get better flow (gpm) than going to a 1/2" hose?

    • @readykleenpowerwashing
      @readykleenpowerwashing  3 года назад +3

      You don't need 3/4" hose. The manifold on the reel is only 1/2". It flows plenty with 1/2" hose. All you'll be doing is adding a lot of weight you'll get tired of pulling around.

    Have a link to the 12v ball valve? and are you not worried about corrosion?

      Not worried about the ball valve because it's stainless. If it goes bad I already have a backup. I keep spares.

    do you keep the ball valve wide open or close it some? what if i only want 2% mix how do i meter that with the water flow

    • @readykleenpowerwashing
      @readykleenpowerwashing  4 года назад +2

      Because the metering valve I currently have is 1/2", if I have it wide open it will give me approx a 3% mix. This is because my water is 1". If you want a stronger mix then I would pinch my water halfway with the ball valve and leave the bleach wide open.

    Fantastic video...can I ask a question, as these machines throw a lot of water, does it come with a lever/knob that you can move, that you can regulate the pressure flow, from a trickle to full flow?

    • @readykleenpowerwashing
      @readykleenpowerwashing  4 года назад +2

      There is an unloader knob that reduces pressure. You can always turn it down but the flow will be there. This situation you can use different nozzle tips such as a fan pattern for a more controlled application.

    all my parts you listed just arrived. Question for you. Can i hook the 1” water line to the top of my tank instead of using the 1” bulkhead coming out of bottom of tank. i dont need the extra line to go to my pressure washer

    • @readykleenpowerwashing
      @readykleenpowerwashing  4 года назад +1

      Yes you can. If your plan is to use a drop line into the tank from the top, it shouldn't be a problem. This is how my SH line pulls chemical.

      @@readykleenpowerwashing I don’t get this either, what’s the point of the bypass if you have to walk over to the machine to put it in bypass? Surely the point of a bypass is to bypass when you come off the trigger?

    • @readykleenpowerwashing

    • @readykleenpowerwashing
      @readykleenpowerwashing  3 года назад

      This system bypasses off the trigger like a pressure washer as well. The difference between this and a pressure washer is that it doesn't bypass back to the tank to continually keep the pump cool. It can only be in bypass mode for up to 10 min before the pump overheats.
