I absolutely have the utmost respect for Brazilian music. Being Cuban I absolutely relate and we have many touching points as far as percussive arrangements. Doing this was really fun. *Thanks for watching!*
Como um brasileiro Posso confirmar que o Beat ficou 80% parecido com os daqui do RJ engraçado que não tem nenhum vídeo em português ensinando detalhadamente a produzir funk
Thanks for watching! It’s crazy to think so many people looking also for this content. I’m planning to do more for sure. I wish I spoke Portuguese! Also, is there a way you can point me to artists and music from Rio? That would be awesome! Muito obrigado!

Im a little confused, whats the super distorted and slightly minimal variety of these beats called or how can i find some as a foreigner ? Ive been finding maybe underground baile funk online and its calling my soul fr
@@mikeytrademark super glad it was helpful 🙌🏻 as far as finding this style I would look for Baile Funk or Funk Carioca. Usually you’ll get these also if you add “type beat” at the end. I know there’s probably a few producers doing these. I’m not sure if I understood de distorted part. Let me know 👍🏻
I don’t go to wikipedia for info. Not a good source of reliable information. But same as with cuban music, most Brazilian genres are influenced by african music. Funk carioca is a combination of many things, including afrobeat.
Isn't the most basic form of the fundamental beat the one without the second kick?... almost sounding like a 2-step from DnB or grime (at least that's what I would compare it to)
At this point, these sub-genres are so intertwined that honestly is hard to not point out how they sound similar to others. This is for sure my own interpretation on them. I’m not an absolute expert in the genre, I leave those nuances to them for sure ☺️👍🏻
@@aki_gong6271 I listened, and yeah, you’re either listening to the wrong song or something else my friend. Obviously you cannot just define an entire genre based on one single band. And they are doing heavy fusion of what I mentioned and also techno and other old school genres. Now, please remember. Just because I showed an specific rhythmic pattern that doesn’t mean there’s no variation, on the contrary, there’s a lot of variations within funk carioca. But yeah, Furacão 2000 is not the standard by any means.
@@aki_gong6271 I know how you might be a bit confused. You’re probably comparing the start of the genre and the influences that originated from with what it is today. What you cannot do is say, for example, that hip hop today is not hip hop cause it doesn’t sound anything like Rapper’s Delight. That would be nonsense.
Furacão 2000 defined Funk Carioca when It was at its highest peak, along with artists like MC Marcinho or Bonde do Tigrão, and I don't think I'm confused about saying that at all, or when setting that as an example that I feel would have been much more interesting as a reference to match, as I feel those are the biggest times of the movement, so ignoring those bands as reference, and making a sample that could sound like any other type of funk in Brasil, like it could be from Sao Paulo, or any other styles of funk, I found it rather misleading and also confusing for any people that may not be familiar with that music style. That's ok, I'm a purist, and I like much more funk das antigas :)

App name?
Which one?
yes cool but however the original funk is a driving force and always better but yes upgraded formula is all good
There’s definitely many variations for sure
Funk Carioca does nothing to do with this.
How so? I want to know why do you think that.
@@ElishaRecords just play any track from Furacão2000 side by side with the track you did and you may notice ;)
