Honestly been wondering why we dont get many (or any) games with a combat system like this.
I'd love a DnD coop looter with a flexable combat system like this. Maybe you could make something like that, you're already halfway there lol.

@@Beardgames Any estimate for when that ALS integration tutorial will be ready? It's the main reason we're still waiting to buy the FCS bundle. Also, do you have any sales, or price hikes planned for the bundle in the next few weeks? With (relatively) high priced packs, that kind of thing can make a real difference.
@@MysteriaStudio Hey Mysteria! Unfortunately the ALS tutorial has had some very bad timing as I am going away on the 10th of September until October. I won't have time to create a tutorial on it until I am back as I still have a few more essential tutorials to cover in the days before I leave I'm very sorry for the wait. As for discounts on the bundle I won't be putting it on sale for possibly a year at least, because the product has just been released today and I spent so much time and invested so much into it it wouldn't make sense to put it up for sale just yet.

Will this work for a first person system? Im making sort of an open world skyrim kind of game, most likely single player. But this combat is amazing.
I will be making a tutorial on how to integrate first person and will also be adding FPS with guns down the line so fear not :)

Great work... 4 quick questions... I assume this can also work with First person shooter? And any plans to have modern firearms - rifles, pistols, rockets, etc? Thirdly, will this work with Multiplayer? Finally, I assume you have plans to keep this in active development?
Hey Web! I've got a Multiplayer and a heap of other awesome features coming out in around March check out my update videos on my channel, after that I'm producing a gun asset which will include every type of gun. And of course this project will go on until my deathbed 😁 I have hopes of making this system the best BP only system out there! P.S if you're planning on buying the whole system I'd recommend the bundle as this will include the gun content when it's released, if you buy the separate assets it will work out more expensive, ill leave it with you 🙂
@@Beardgames thanks for the quick reply. When do you think you will be getting to the gun stuff? And the bundle will include the gun assets AND all of the additional awesome features that are coming?
@@webworxtechnologyALT Gun stuff will be a month or 2 after the upcoming update in March! Yes the bundle will include everything including every single update that comes, the single assets will include every single update that is specific to that category, aka the gun update won't apply to the only Melee system :)
You do great work it seems. I'm looking forward towards the updates and such... and I will be a buyer of the bundle. Some final quick questions: Most of the videos on your channel that I saw are in third person… will this work in first person too ? On some systems where they are mostly designed to do 3rd person... making them do 1st person doesn’t work well… clipping, bad framing, etc. when you try to change from 3rd to 1st person… how is your system? Do you have swimming, ladder climbing, swinging, etc.? What about vehicles - not a deal breaker - just curious? For spells system - can we create our own spells/spell recipes? One other thing… will it be relatively easy to take a multiplayer game or single player and put it on Steam? Thanks again for your time and replies.
Is this just a Combat system - the skills and how bots react to getting hit? Or does it include full AI behavior like they know how to jump, navigate?
Because ive been looking on the market for months... there is no AI that knows how to navigate platforms in the SideScroller view (know how to detect what is in front, and jump up or jump over a ledge).
I asked people that know how to do this, and they dont want to.
I followed tuts on custom Nav Jump points - and they dont work 70% of the time - glitchy AI code or collision detection by Epic (for their Nav points).
It's an advanced combat system with a heap of other systems like questing and dialogue! The AI won't navigate over objects but that is something I could maybe implement in the future for sure. The AI has melee, ranged, magic combat, can switch attack styles, can patrol paths and detect noise and search for the player

Could this be used in say, a battle royale game?
Of course!
A block, a parry animation that staggers, and an AI that's smart enough to put up a fight? Animation canceling into a dodge?! Even stealth kills...
I even remember your channel being one of the first to give me a few tips on blueprints.
You know how in games like metal gear rising, devil may cry, or Bayonetta there's a launcher you can use to launch an enemy? Is there a way to launch an enemy off the ground then lower the gravity at the apex of the vertical launch? I did try the demo and was very happy with what I played. I just don't know if that's something I would need to add myself or already exists in some form?
Will You plan a tutorial so we can replicate our own?
There will be tutorials on every feature in the system, Multiplayer replication will happen in the future however :)
