P.S. I’m a player whose main priority in a shoe is traction. Yes cushion is good to have so your legs aren’t dead, but all I care about is traction.
I used to rock a pair of pink Kay Yow Nike hyperdisruptors with a grey outsole. This was back in 2013/14. Those things had some of the most violent traction I’ve ever used. I also loved the DRose 1. One of my all time favorite shoes.

Best traction I've ever played in was in the curry two and I'm still looking to get another pair in the professional colorway which was the colorway that I had
I've been testing traction on shoes for years. I test the shoes that reviewers consider great like the ektio's, kobe 9's, D rose 7 ect. The GOAT traction comes from the GOAT player..the translucent version of the AJ 28 is hands down the best under any court condition. Also the traction simply does not wear down. I've been playing in mine regularly for 4 years now and the bite is every bit as good as ever. And you simply do not have to wipe. I've even tested different courts.
Best traction I've ever used is the kb mentality 2. Kyrie 3 and crazy light 3 are great to.
Jordan 14's are the best IMO. 12's were beast also. Anything with herringbone all over is gonna be beastly

Jordan 1 and 28, Kobe 9. The three hardest stopping tractions I've ever played in. Kobe 8 is perfect in terms of not sticking TOO hard but 0 slippage. Those 4 shoes are all incredible

To me the xx8 was goat level. Required a little wiping but so what? So much coverage with great bite. I also liked the xx9 more than the xxx, mainly the solid rubber colorway. Kobe 8 and 9 are good calls, too bad the 9 didn't play better outdoors

kobe 11 clear outsole was trash for me after a while, definitely didnt get better. picks up too much dust and hard to wipe between grooves, otherwise it would be my fav shoe.
