    About Katie
Katie is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner with extensive experience in managing acute illness and chronic health conditions in the community and primary care setting. She has practiced at an advanced practice level and is a qualified Health visitor. Her previous roles have included the autonomous assessment and management of patients within the community who have complex acute or chronic conditions paired with complexed social circumstances to prevent admission to secondary care. Prior to qualifying as an Advance Clinical Practitioner, Katie undertook a BSc. (Hons) in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing. In this role, she visited and supported families with children ages 0-5 following the health child programme. In addition to undertaking assessments, screening and management of infants and pre-school children, Katie provided families with advice and mental health support but has been fundamental in safeguarding children, particularly within the multi-agency arena.
