I've been using the loreal hicolor highlights in red for years! never needed to bleach my hair and it always comes out a vibrant red every time 🥰 then when I'm over it.. color remover and brown dye and I'm good. But I recently wanted blue hair so I had to bite the bullet and bleach my hair. But I'm satisfied 100%
I have red hair and want to go blue also ! But have only used the hicolor highlight in red to brighten, did you succeed in getting to blue with the bleach? If so what were your steps or what do you recommend? Thanks!

I love this dye I just used it to do a sombre on my hair because I had dyed black hair from brown and had dreads for 5 months so I had a lot of root growout. 💖 I didn't use manic Panic but maybe I can do what you did to help my natural hold the red brighter and longer. I used extra ions red intensifier tho so it helped a little. 💖 Absolutely love your videos

Awe thank you! I would start by using hot water when you shampoo and use a clarifying shampoo or anti dandruff shampoo. Then I would try a color remover like color oops and see where that gets you. I’ve seen a few videos on RUclips of going from red to blue maybe binge watch all of those to see what they did 👍🏻💕

The lady at Sally’s Beauty said to add 30 volume developer to the hair dye then apply. Is that safe being that I just bleached it? Or should I just put the dye in by itself???
Aka Aislinn the first time I believe we used 30 volume and it made the top of my head neon yellowey and the bottom like medium brown (I had box dyed it back to my natural color last May so the brown parts were from that dye). I actually just finished using the magenta and it looks very good but the bottom is just a darker pink than the rest.

I just watched her video about keeping dyed hair bright, and she recommends exactly what you said! So if you used red dye, then pour some of that red dye into your bottle of conditioner [enough that the conditioner turns red] and then use that every couple of shampoos, to refresh your colour. Hope this helps!

If you’re a stylist then how come you never use anything that isn’t sold in Sally’s? The only thing I’ve ever seen you use is a professional bleach/color remover. Other than that why haven’t you used anything that is sold in cosmoprof or salon centric?

It all depends. what volume you used to bleach it the first time? Have you ever bleached your hair before that?

Use a harsh shampoo to scrub off the color from your skin. Always works for us pale ladies.
