- Join me on Jet2 Flight LS224 from Tenerife South to Leeds Bradford Airport where I was terrified by Airport Border Force with a Full Cavity Search at the UK Border.

Why would customs strip search you? Only the police can do strip/cavity search here in the UK and ONLY if they suspect you've concealed something up your Gary. Customs would never conduct a strip search.

In Northern Ireland we are put through sheep dip with a cattle prod. Then dried in a large microwave which "pings" when you're cooked.

Use leeds brad airport all the time. Great little airport.. not for everyone but that’s usually the landing with crosswinds…..
... and dont forget the fog at LBA especially when the pilot announces were just on limits and when you land you cant see the terminal building from the runway.
Always love your travel vlogs. Never been to Tenerife but I’m longing to try it out. Maybe next year. Those sandwiches you purchased at WHSmith in the airport reminded me of the days of British Rail and the station canteens “Traveller’s Fayre” remember them? One thing I love about flying is seeing the views from down on the ground but hate take off and love landing and hate comming back from a hot country back to measurable England wet weather haha carnt wait for the next vlog and carnt wait to have my first flight with jet2 over to Greece in 272 days not that I’m counting haha

I went through Malaga earlier today and to be fair it was 10 minutes to go through security and it took me longer to walk to the gate for the Jat2 flight to EMA than go through security. Properly good to be fair to Malaga Airport. The Duty Free is Malaga was dearer then on the plane with the 20% off Jet2 offered us on the flight.

Mr Mac, regarding the Duty Free prices, you can see 08:03 that 3 cartons of Marlboro are 98 euros, in my local shop 3 cartons would set me back £420, so a you can see, that is a massive saving.
It might be cheaper as some of the American brands are not manufactured in the states to avoid taxes.
Years ago in the duty free at the Canadian border the Marlboro cigarettes were made in Switzerland🤔
Tasted much different than US made😝
Prices vary in the states as the tax rates vary by state.
A carton in NY state would be around $100usd and Georgia would be $60-$70usd.
Travelers from the more expensive states stock up on the return journey back.

Leeds is a poor airport arrived back yesterday. Sat on the plane for ages as coaches not arrived. I suppose at least we didn't have to walk down the walkway you had to. Only benefit is it's close to home. Guy had the blue gloves on at security when we arrived.
It's the best airport in the country. No messing about. In and out in 2 seconds.

Lee when you fly jet2 wish you would try the ham & Cheese toastie, it looks great on the flyer, would love to see what its like for real,, As a aside, pretty sure you had a Manxie as captain/first officer doing the flight, ( Surname & accent are correct for my thinking, bit of homework to do here, ) So you were in safe hands, great on bikes, so a plane no problem,,, Wonder how late you would have been on a electric plane ??? I would just like to say. I have Enjoyed all of your TENERIFE video's my Friend Lee. One of the most Beautiful and Modern Airports i have Compliment i have ever seen. Duty Free it is Not. It is the High Import Tax you are paying. Cheaper to buy at the local Super Market. What a great Airline to fly with and Experience it's Passenger Hospitality. Really Lovely Flight Crew and an Extremely Friendly Captain to look after his Passengers and Beautiful Aircraft. I think, when you said Lee, about the Cavity searching. No, only if they suspect you are carrying Drugs in a certain place, say no more!! I hope you found your car Lee, and that you had a very Safe journey back home. Great as always my Friend Lee. It's Border Force a government agency on return so I don't think the review would affect their selection process🤔🤔
