TLDR: Troopers are a higher value team in terms of investment than CLS in my opinion. To be honest, I thought Imperial Troopers were gonna get a shout out here. They, in my opinion, are more valuable then any team in the game, including GLs and CLS. Farming is easy. You have 1 Bronzium Pack Character (Veers), 2-3 Hard Node farms (Range, Piett, and Dark Trooper), 1 Cantina farm (Gideon), and 1 Guild token store farm (Stark) that form the best lineup. No legendaries, but can beat almost every team in the game including GAS and even some Galactic Legend comps. Gideon is the best plug and play character in game so he may move around, but the other 5 can stick together easily. Imperial Troopers are able to beat 2 separate assault battles at challenge tier 3, they can punch way up in terms of gear and only require 2 zetas. Literally every other zeta between the 6 characters is optional (Gideon's control the situation is worth it though). If you feel like it the rest of the Troopers (Death, Stormtrooper, Magma, and Snowtrooper. Shoretrooper is a pre-taunt and can go elsewhere) can go to Iden Versio (can go first similar to Han or Wat) to form a really solid defensive team which covers Troopers only real downside, being bad on defense. CLS is probably second for me though. He just doesn't quite get there for me. 2 Legendaries, a Journey Character, and a raid reward make him a bigger investment that doesn't pay back quite as efficiently.
I agree that troopers are batsht crazy, but theyre not good on defense whereas CLS is great and as my only good defensive team in 5v5 GAC it consistently gets holds against opponents twice my size
@@henryhoran3100 True, the main lineup of troopers is not great on defense, but I would also remind you that all the leftover troopers can go with Iden and that is a really solid defensive team, not quite as good as CLS, but unlike CLS, the leftover troopers are basically free (3 of them come from stores I believe) and only need an unlocked gear 6 iden with her zeta to function well. The advantage is still no legendaries (12 characters total vs 18 characters) and instead of one Top tier team, you get 2 (1 Top tier and one middle of the rung team, 1 for offense and one for defense that both excel in those categories. Plus, with Iden's Omicron the team becomes a very strong defensive team, arguably on par with CLS.
I usually disagree with videos that have titles like this but nope, agree 100%. Best part of JMLS as my first GL was the CLS squad is still the best part of that. Solid team in every game mode, be it TB, TW, GAC, or Conquest even.
Not really surprising given the massive investment needed to get the team: CLS - requires a lot of trash. Solo - raid only character. Chewie - requires a full BH team at decent gear. Chewpio - just a slow farm, easiest character. C-3PO - requires a full Ewok team at decent gear. For all that work, I’d hope it’s good.
Han and Chewie pilot one of the best ships in the game though, whereas in the Aurra lead BH squad, only Bossk does. And in the fleet where Bossk is most relevant, he's a requirement for unlock anyway
@@GadRiven6to6 fair enough, but bounty hunters can work really well under most capitol ships and really fit into any squad, and most people dont start there bounty hunters with aura or zam. The millenium falcon requires a more specific team and more specific capitol ship to be amazing #
Currently Rounding out my roster after doing a SEE grind. I'm going Bounty Hunters, Galactic Republic, Rebels, M Troopers, Droids. on a side not is 3po 2nd special zeta worth it at low gear ( like G8 or G9, and low stars 4 or 5)???
Guess as a few other minor notes He's probably the least mod intensive and easiest non GL 4/4 in LSgeo He destroys conquest with amplify agony and is good for the hokey religions feats and especially powerful if you get Bam lead going. Surprising decent sith raid damage for phase 3 Also surprising important in the Tw landscape for dealing with phasma / mara omni's that have cropped up Also CLS with Cat is fun

Its hard to argue. thats not even factoring that Han and Chewie are pilots of one of the greatest ships if not the greatest ship in the game. And its still super effective without any zetas invested into the team as well so its perfect for a beginner who doesnt have many to throw around.
I agree for the most part but If your more late game or middle go for GAS. GAS is just a good All around good character. He’s good with the GL Jedi and he is just great with the 501st and other teams. He can play a hard defense and a powerful offense

Disappointed Bad-Batch is not there. There is this misconception that they are an endgame team since they are not accelerated yet and cost many cyrotechs. This is however not a problem as they dont need to be 7 stars or even 5 stars. They work perfectly well at 3 stars already. They also do NOT need cyrotechs. Just gear them up until you need them and then stop. Every character needs ONE stungun. Thats it. What can they beat? As long as they are faster, even if the enemy is fully relic: Monmothma, Geos, Leftover First order, quigon, speratists, bountyhunters, grievous(only up to relic3), padme(only without anakin), nightsisters, leftover rebels, ewoks, old republic, scoundrels(without IG11) and everything lesser than that. can they beat the meta teams? no! can they beat anything else and save you one of your own meta teams? yes! They beat just so much at a VERY cheap price and save you your better teams for a clean 65 banner win. How often do you see a Geo squad and you have to throw vader at them? Dont do that, save your Vader for a solo or beat up padme with him. There is not a single other team that takes out so many fully relic teams for the cheap price of one stungun each, a few zetas and decent mods.
As a newbie (900 k gp) I think the main problem with bad batch is their grind is yucky. 4 Character to be farmed with same energy is not appealing tbh. On top of that you also need same energy for more essential stuff like dark trooper, jango feet, bossk and stuff like jolee bindo, bastila, bastila fallen etc like core revan unlock teams. You farm bad batch means you will invest too much of this energy on a single team. But in other hand lets say you used same energy for bounty hunters, you suddenly have chewbacca, han solo will come from raids and CLS is a jorney character (easy one) and you have 2 teams you can even use jango on padme event so thats also an extra. So the main idea is bad batch is too costy for just a team. If 2 of them like shipment characters they would probably see more action
@@silcrow1820 You dont need all 330 character shards tho. First of all, many players have done the marquee event when they came out a year ago, so they dont need to farm any shards at all. Second, you can get them to 3 stars and leave them there. 5x65=325, so thats essentially just one character you need to farm, but its done quicker. They dont need to be 7 stars, its completely optional, I know this, I have used the team at 3 stars for half a year.
In my opinion to be at least some sort of competitive you need at least 3 GL , malevolence/negotiator and Executor. I am currently at Aurodium 3 and all of my opponents have at least 2 GL and both Malevo and Negotiator , some guy even had the Exe. Currently I only Have SEE (I am only 2 requirements away from getting Kenobi) , 7 stars negotiator and 5 star malevolence. Last week my 3rd opponent had 3 GL and he wrecked me with so much ease. It's ridiculous how the match making works, why am I facing people with even 3 million gp than I do. Why can't I face people of my GP or similar roaster to mine. I wanted to farm other teams after Kenobi , but due at how the game currently works I feel the need to rush both Kylo and Exe.
We're all getting it so don't worry you're not the only one we're all suffering cg want us to spend that's what it is 😂. No seriously though I had this discussion with some good pals in discord and the conclusion is that we're just punching past what we should if that make sense like we're winning and winning and winning and now it's at a point where we're in places where there isn't much people at our gp level in the div we're in so we're going to keep facing bigger opponents

That's the reason they made it double shards in cantina and light/dark side nodes. Now getting shards is relatively easy but gear is hard. It's why ships (that 'coincidentally' don't require gear) are still single shard nodes
I’m using this team at 618kgp. I have CLS @ R5, Han @ R3, Chewy and 3P0 @ R5, R2 @ G12 , 3PO @ G11. No one has beaten them in GAC. They really really help in pve getting me higher rewards.

Troopers can also solo P3 and most of P4 of the Sith Raid, are a viable P2/3 CPIT team, and go 4/4 in all 4 phases of DSTB
