I feel like he would've been equally or possibly even more popular than Daniel, Jaehwan, Sungwoon if he were to go solo. His style has a unique niche in the Kpop industry that has not been seen before, the androgynous, edgy and dark/R&B and alternative style that the closest I could see his style in is Taemin.

@@daldalc7493 Daniel has talent and did open his own entertainment building so please don't say he's only for his face. Jaehwan and Sungwoon may be only popular in some aspects as well but Daehwi can be compared to them. They're vocalists and in the same industry AND also best friends.
tbh i was confused when i first started stanning cause even though hwi was in third place he got a noticable lack of promotion. He is obviously very talented and good at variety and yet he barely got to show his skills. hope that his hardwork will pay off and he gets more recognition.

I'm not a fan of Wanna One or AB6IX, but I've had a good impression of Daehwi ever since that Heroine stage he did with Sunmi and Seulgi. That's why I decided to check this out when I saw it in my recommendations and this is not what I was expecting at all! I love how he embraces himself and sings about what he wants and dances as he wants. He's definitely not the type of boy I've seen before since most of them won't/aren't allowed to dance to choreos like this with such confidence. I don't know much about him, but I'm super proud of him for this masterpiece!
ps: I kept thinking of Taemin while watching him in this video. I'm sure they could make an incredible collab
