I love it, There is nothing you can't do when it comes to metal and wood. A lot of these big companies that build these big smokers, that's all machine cut! You cut everything by hand which makes you a master fabricator. Love the videos!
iv seen sevral of your voideos a as one of your viewers said in their commentary..you are a very crafty and use your materials very effectivly none go to waste your ideas are like a school never ending... i do build pits and ornamental mixing old school and new......keep up the good work i enjoy your work.
Genius is the only word that can describe what you did on this one! What would you charge me to make one of these like this one? What a beauty! Functional Artwork!!!!

Kick ass pit Allen! Huge fan of your metal fabrication... If you get time can you show how you did the latch with the spring and how your bending the metal for the top of firebox with clamps and vice grips please? Thank you! Todd
Alan you need a garage. Or a shop. Something. Not one of that temporary deals. Man I wish I could work with you you seem to be very decent and a hard worker. Take care my friend
Another amazing video. Man, where do you get the energy? You work all day and then you come home and become this welding artisan. I love Yoder and Lyfe Tyme Smokers, but you, my friend, are in a class all by yourself. Superb!
Allen you kick ass, my man. Where are you in the states? I'm here in Cape Town South Africa, just started building my first drum BBQ, outta 50 gallon drum. It's UGLY! And leaks smoke everywhere, but it works a treat. Still main drum only, but will be modifying with a side off set fire box at some stage. If I were a rich man, I'd contract you to build me one like in this vid and ship it here. But I ain't so... Keep up the good work, love your channel.
I wanna come pour you a 6’ x 8’ slab that is perfectly level in trade for a basic Santa Maria Grill. I live in Austin, TX. so it’s not that far. Send me a pm if that would work for you. I will deal with all costs for the slab.i will give you the standard contractor guarantee, “ 30 days or til it cracks”. LOL. I have never had a slab crack except where it was supposed to on a control joint. I love your videos, creativity, and pride in the work you do.
That one was $800, I don't do that style much but I do the same set up for offsets, just built with plate.. check out some of the newer videos to see them
I had to stop the video and work to get a good picture of your son. Why? Because it was like looking in a mirror 53 years ago! I will try to send you a picture of me when I can raid the family pics. GOOD LOOKING YOUNG MAN! LOL!
as always Allen beautiful work. I have been with you admiring your work for a long time. You have come a long way brother.
