  • Sound check of the LeoVince LV10 Titanium exhaust and the installation process. Simple job. Any novice can do this.
Install Notes: 1) When you connect the spring between the two parts, secure your motorcycle with some counterforce so that you don't pull the entire motorcycle with you when tugging back the spring. 2) Don't be surprised when you remove the original exhaust to find a bushing that needs to be peeled off so that the new pipe will fit.
Sound Notes: New LV10 has a wonderful low growl to it.
Prices will vary, but here is an overview of the models and "weight savings" compared to stock.
    "LV-10" saves 1.68 pounds at $215.95
"LV-10 BLACK EDITION" saves 1.68 pounds at $233.95
"LV-10 FULL BLACK" saves 1.68 pounds at $279.95
"LV-10 Carbon Fiber" saves 2.09 pounds at $289.95
    "LV-10 Titanium" saves 2.54 pounds at $350.95

You should record some clips of passing by with the new exhaust :)

Pretty sure I can arrange that with my little Phopik iPhone tripod.
I’m curious myself. I also want to see what I look like riding on the motorcycle.
I will try to remember to give you a phantom black arrow shot at the end (me pretending to fire an arrow because I’m a dork like that). Stay tuned….

For anyone installing a coffman exhaust... don't scrape the "duct tape / aluminum foil" thing off, it needs it and clamps around the outside. Almost made that mistake haha

      Great callout!

I added a note about that to the video description just now to increase visibility. Thanks again for letting people know that about the Coffman.

@@ridingwithgravity401 Awesome thanks man! And thanks for the great videos. Definitely the best svart mod install vids out there

If you did the two stage air intake filters with fuel x and got a louder engine sound with that, how much more bass and volume is the exhaust adding

Good question! I haven’t done the airbox cover or air filter, but I am considering it. So when you hear the sound coming from the LV10 exhaust on my Svart, it’s really just changing because of the LeoVince LV10. I’ll be sure to do a sound video (before and after) if I do the airbox cover and air filter.

May I ask you if doesn't it bother (or directly burn) the back passenger leg? It's just me or it looks too close to the feetpeg?

I never ride with passengers, but it is something people should pay attention to. Make sure your passenger is aware of hot spots and foot position.
Don’t want your passenger to either get burned or end up melting their shoe/boot on your exhaust!

Does an exhaust mod have performance benefits?

    • @ridingwithgravity401
      @ridingwithgravity401  Год назад

Depends on what you do. For example a full exhaust or cat delete would likely have direct performance impact.
I did a slip on and the only “gains” really were a weight reduction and preferred sound.

this is just a slip-on exhaust, do they still want you to use the fuelx? or is that optional?

Here is an interesting related article. Scroll down to the part about popping and running lean where it mentions fueling.

Is it required? No. However, I may do other future mods, so now I don’t need to worry about it. Some folks have noted that a FuelX Lite mod is one of the first and best mods regardless.
I figured since I planned on doing both, I might as well do the FuelX Lite first and then I don’t have to have any worries about the engine.

@@ridingwithgravity401 yes and pretty cheap as far as tuners go. it seems like a good deal even if you were doing no mods and wanted to undo the strict emissions and regulations tweaks
