Join me and my Svartpilen 401 (named Gravity) as I share videos on my motorcycle experience as a new rider.
When I was looking at motorcycles, it was hard to find a lot of Svartpilen content, so I decided to contribute so that you can all benefit. I’ll share information on the Svartpilen 401, riding videos, new rider tips, and I’ll slowly start adding maintenance content as well.

Svartpilen 401 - The City Riding Experience
This motorcycle handles extremely well and has a high seat position, making it wonderful in urban settings. The rider position is also ideal for visibility and comfort in the city.

2022 Svartpilen 401. Still working beautifully after two years. No mechanical problems. Adjustment to the clutch tension helped with the Easy Shift (quickshifter) and now the quickshifter isn't garbage. I wanted to do a follow up on the FuelX Lite to answer post-installation questions about the lights. The FuelX Lite will blink red when it is activated. Really, just thank you. I do this for fun, and I plan to continue until I get too busy. Right now it's winter, so I put Gravity away and just stare at it when I'm in the garage. My Shoei helmet came with a pinlock and I loved it. Wonderful not to have the visor fogging up. I got a second helmet and it didn't have one, but it was set up to add one. I did. Tank size up from 9.5L to 13L means a better range between gassing up. I'm expecting to go from about 150 miles range to 200 miles range (240 km to 320 km). Seat height is 820 mm which is about a half an inch lower than the older 835mm seat. 5 inch TFT display will be nice. Mirrors are upgraded.
