You know, I never noticed, but it seems Stone Free represents a chrysalis. We can see through the story that Jolyne changes, she becomes stronger, more focused, and a bad-ass. Her symbol is a butterfly trapped in a spider web to show how she grows from the circumstances that try to stop her, the threads made to immobilize her become her weapon, she turns her own body into a cocoon made of silk, and by the end, with the ultimate sacrifice made to save Emporio, we don't see Jolyne herself be destroyed, but her stand, after which we see the butterflies flying above, this is likely because she has left that chrysalis behind to reach maturity, her courage and selflessness set her free, like that monk from Vinland Saga said "Death perfects a person", she shone the brightest at the end.
God, I don't know how much of this series Araki planned or if this (along with so many other awesome symbolic things in this series) was just an awesome coincidence...but this really just emphasizes that Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is one of the greatest stories of all time!
I really was expecting at the end of this season that being Stone Free made of steings, Araki would give it some universal power related to Quantum String Theory so that it could affect reality like MIH but in another way.

While I was watching Stone Ocean, I really thought Jolyne would acquire a requiem form of Stone Free derived from the Quantum Strings Theory: she would be able to affect the fabric of reality by altering the quantum strings that form the universe, and using quantistic phenomena like entanglement (i.e. affecting Pucci from every distance), or quantum channelling (intangibility). I would have enjoyed see Emporio wielding Stone Free Requiem insted of Weather Report.

For Gold Experience, trapping Diavolo in an infinite loop of deaths was a byproduct of Fate manipulation that allows GER to affect time/space itself (what we see in not Diavolo’s soul, but BOTH soul and body transported in a pocket universe ruled by GER). As Fate and Universe are connected, affecting one lets the user affect the other, and Stone Free manipulating the strings of reality would have affected Fate and souls too, just like Made in Haeven, but in a different way. (Anyway this is only pure speculation on a fictious power system where the author often contradicts himself, so basically every fan fiction about it could fit)

Also there's the fact GER's ability explains it reduces the opponent's attack and WILL to zero, it doesn't say anything about teleporting people

If stone free before even being fully devolved, manged to complete sever a gaurds ear off with string wouldn't that have straight up decapitated C-moon when joylne choked him with string?
It wasn't so much that SP was nerfed. Jotaro just got older and less able to handle the strain on his body that the time stop ability caused. His heart basically stops beating every time he uses it.
