I love how sunrises and sunsets are as unique as fingerprints. The interplay of clouds make them even more so. There’s a shared-experience aspect of watching the sun that connects us with all humans of every generation, which is so compelling to me. Several years ago, I spent a week in Gills Rock, WI, which is at the very northern tip of Door County. The back of the house was perfectly situated to watch the sunset. After seeing the first sunset there, all plans and activities for the rest of the week were scheduled such that we would always be back at the house in time to watch the sunset. That single activity was the most calming and centering thing about each day, and was not to be missed. It’s still the thing I think of first when I remember that trip. Thank you for this lovely video!

I really wanted to fall asleep to this last night, only problem is that thinking about sunRISES makes me more alert for mornings. If this had been sunSETS, it would have put me in a better "wind down" mood. Very nice video and concept, just not one that works on me personally for sleeping.
