- Welcome! Join me in thinking about the second of the Five Remembrances of Buddhism. I would love to hear your thoughts -and would love to help you relax and maybe even fall asleep. If you enjoy relaxing hand motions, this video is for you. But please feel free to just close your eyes, listen, and drift off.
Much love,
Jean
Dear Jean, your soothing tone of voice and beautiful hand gestures are the perfect vehicles to let the five remembrances sink in. You are such a lovely and loving creature.
Frans, you are so kind-thank you. It warmed my heart to read this☺️💓
Rewatching this one. All of the many nuances; the art behind your left shoulder and right shoulder; your voice, gestures, hair (curled), glasses, eyes, face, outfit; and your message from Buddhism. Unique and wonderful, Jean :)
Britton, thank you! You always uplift my spirit with your generous encouragement. So appreciated, my friend 💓
You're back!! Missed your content. Thanks for coning back 😊
Thank you so much! ☺️💓
Sorry, I missed this one. I like it ❤. You try always your best for us. Thank you very much. Have a nice week .👍
Thank you so much, Karl! I hope you have a great week, too☺️❤️
Still my favourite x 😊
Thank you so much☺️
Another wonderful video my friend! I really think these are important topics. You are good at getting at what is important. I appreciate that about you. Very relaxing way to end it as well. Take care of you.
Thank you, sweet friend! I was just thinking about you and hoping you’re well and getting excited for fall 🍁 Sending you lots of love-thanks for being here ☺️💓
I've recently been in the nature of sickness 😋It was just a cold, but it took a few weeks and only now am I almost well. Feeling sick is one thing, but I think what I've struggled with most in my life is changing the expectations of myself. I think I'm pretty good at it these days, as even though I missed going out and exercising I didn't push myself to do more than my body felt okay with. Sickness is one of those things where it can feel like we are in control of getting well, or we want to be, but in the end the thing you need to focus on is not getting over being sick but being present with it and adapt to what new limits you have.
Talking about limits, I could definitely see you being the type to have a childlike glint in your eye for the infinite possibilities well into adulthood. There's joy that can come from that but I'm glad you've found a balance now of knowing that there are limits. ✨🍀🍄💚
Thank you for the video ✨😊🌸💚I'll have one out soon now too since I'm not sick. I've been waiting patiently excited for the day to make a new video 😊
I’m so sorry you’ve been unwell-and very glad you’re on the mend ☺️ What you said about being present during sickness is very wise. We want so badly to escape discomfort and suffering that we try to rush through it and often make it worse in the process.
I laughed when you talked about my childlike glint-that’s definitely accurate 😆 But yes, I’ve come to enjoy some limits. Sometimes I add them into my life on purpose because it can bring more focus.
I’m looking forward to your next video and hope you’ll be feeling fully healthy and as close to unlimited as possible very soon☺️💓✨
Thank you 😊@@SleepStoriesASMR
Insightful; yes there are limits on us and that's okay. So much pleasure to find in simple marvels of life; and illness/injury helps us appreciate good health even more. Your hair changed, love your glasses, and that's a compelling drawing behind you there; someone kneeling I think.
Thank you so much! And I’m enjoying working on the drawing. It’s based on a memorial statue in a cemetery. In the drawing, the woman is kneeling underwater, holding up a flame above the surface 🕯️ 🌊
@@SleepStoriesASMR Your drawing; a woman kneeling underwater holding a flame above the surface. That sounds surreal and perhaps even haunting. I hope you will do a video segment on it one day, if you're comfortable with that :)
@@calmsky326 thanks, Britton☺️ It would be fun to do a little art show and tell video sometime
