The best was when the teacher roasts the “popular kid.” It’s always so funny and the teachers just do their work like normal with a smirk.
My 5th grade science teacher did that all the time, and watching him roast the rude kids was hilarious.
My 5th grade (math and science) teacher stood up for me and one of my friends when a kid in the back of the room told the teacher me and my friend were playing games on our computers when we were actually playing the review game in our folder. The teacher embarrass them so bad and he said, “These two have one of the best grades in the class so I suggest you worry about yourself.” I have not forgotten the day and I will always remember it… mostly because he said that to one of the kids I absolutely hated.
my social studies teacher did this a few times. once, a student said that the colored pencils she had were trash (we were coloring mandalas) and she replied, “your face is trash!”
another time she stated that one of our students was dropped as a baby (she addressed them by name too).

in 6th grade the popular kid eli told the teacher “BRO YOU CAN NEVER MAKE A BABY” and our teacher ms Russell said “well your parents probably don’t know how to either” 💀 😭

1:37 I read the Scarlet letter Junior year in an honors class and we didn’t even need to read all of it. I can’t imagine reading that in middle school
Last year in Year Seven we had an ant infestation. They crawled into two people's lunchboxes and we had to get the caretaking team to remove them. We then realized the people we needed weren't here until half past one, then they got stuck in traffic for ages. We got back in the classroom at a quarter to three, but then the windows were broken and stayed shut, while the AC wasn't working either. In the middle of July, 32°C outside. They sent us outside to do our work but there was no point so we got the afternoon off
My biggest question is why were you in school during July? Isn't it summer break?

STORY TIME a lil while ago in class I found an ant climbing around on my desk, and I assumed it had climbed on my clothes during recess. I let it climb onto my hand and asked the teacher if I could bring it outside. Someone asked me why I hadn’t just smooshed it and I said “It’s my friend.” After I was done releasing it the teacher LITERALLY said “Let’s keep our animal friends outside” and I was like well what did you want me to do kill it and have ant guts on my desk? Just gave me some nostalgia

5th grade in my school is elementary but it was more like middle school,plus lots of fighting and no help with anything except math and %30 chance to get help on reading,if I didn’t get help I’d be told “fIguRe iT oUt!” Happened in a math test where I found a mistake,told the teacher,didn’t care,but 5 minutes later she says the mistake then I go I TOLD YOU I TOLD YOU until she tells me to stop 😂 best and worst math test ever.
Worst year of school so far,got bad grades cuz of it,hopefully real middle school doesn’t have fighting and bad grades,but not sure if the teacher will even help out in middle school,pretty sure it’ll get worse.
The teacher was nice still and sometimes made jokes with us but when class starts the mood would change.

I’m in high school and our home group teacher gives us all cakes on our birthdays (she is an awesome teacher, we even have a special section of the whiteboard that the students have decided to write compliments to our teacher on) and sometimes during class we will just doodle on some paper, give it to her And she puts them in a drawer of our art. I’m in 5th grade. All I have to say is it’s a lot more like a middle school or even high school. Lots of dating, cursing, high school level education. The teachers are just used to it at this point.
