- Brooke and Thorne commend Eric for saving Stephanie’s life. Eric is worried about the trouble Deacon might stir up. Despite Amber and Brooke’s attempts to stop Rick, Rick says he wants to bring the family together by having Brooke be Amber’s matron of honor. Deacon concocts his plan, deciding to arrive at the wedding with Bridget and tell the Forresters to give him Amber and his son, or he will keep Bridget. However, Bridget hesitates when Deacon suggests he go as her date to the wedding.

It’s odd to have a wedding announcement the second time you marry the same person.
After the paternity reveal, Rick pushed for a divorce (or was it an annulment?). They weren't married any longer or CJ wouldn't have been able to marry Amber at the church (the wedding that Deacon interrupted and that then was canceled).

Deacon did have the best chemistry with Amber; Not even with Sheila, in 2024. Funny, it was okay for Brooke to have Ridge play daddy to Rick, Bridgette, and Hope. Brooke almost sounds jealous of Amber and the chemistry she has with Deacon; cause her and Thorne don't have any chemistry
