So true, Dimash has a way of making people happy - not sure if is his voice, his ranges, his persona, the whole package... I don't know what it is... whatever it is, watching and listening to his performances makes me feel actual happiness!
His dad seems so elated and adores his son. So refreshing to see a positive father/son relationship. Honor thy father and mother comes to mind and knowing it is still alive and well in this world.
All of Dimash's performances on Singer 2017 is different and amazing. Two songs like "Late Autumn" and
"Daybreak" he song beautifully in Mandarin. Both songs are very emotional because this is a story behind each song.
Actually, he was sick while performing the "Daybreak" and the doctor advised him not to sing, but he did it anyway because Dimash did not want to disappoint his fans.
I don't know if you reacted to another equally amazing Chinese singer his name is Hua Chenyu. He was on the same Singer contest but the next year, 2018. He is very versatile and unique. He can rearrange a song in 24 hours and compose his own.

In 2017 when he sang this song on I AM Singer competition in China he was the youngest competitor at 22. The man that did the fist pump at the end of the song is his father. The original singer of the song Vitas was so jealous of Dimash that he forbade Dimash to ever sing it again. Please react to a duet from this year Dimash & Tengri Swan Goose. Tengri, musicians and outfits from Mongolia. At the beginning Tengri sings Mongolian Dimash Kazakh then at the end both sing in Chinese. One musician also uses overtone singing throughout. Beautiful!!!
Vitas never ban Dimash singing opera 2. Don't spread rumors and make vitas look bad.
Well, the situation with Vitas seems to be a bit more complicated than it being a case of pure jealousy on Vitas' part, though I do get the sense that that sentiment could very well play a role in the aftermath. Dimash's representatives contacted the agency representing Vitas for permission to perform the song, which shouldn't have been much of a problem. This permission however got delay upon delay and time ran out on it. Dimash then decided to perform the song anyway, with or without permission. Afterwards accusations flew of Dimash "damaging" the "artistic intentions" of the song as Vitas saw it - for what it's worth. Anyway the arguments ran so high that in the end Vitas forbade Dimash to ever again perform this song, on the penalty of being sued for copyright infringement if he ever did again.
It's a bit petty of Vitas to take such a stand, as Dimash' performance renewed the interest in the already flagging international career of Vitas. Vitas was known before in the West where he had some success with songs like the "7th element" from 2001.

this article like most entertainment news made up or twisted facts. Vitas lawyer letter was not for Dimash performance on the Singer show but for a commercial show at a Chinese spring festival. The lawyer letter was sent to the TV station who was in charge of the copy right. The TV station didn't get the copy right sorted out before they asked Dimash to sing. Lawyer letter never mentioned forbidden Dimash to sing vitas songs. All the rest was made up by people who want to create hate between vitas and his Fandom and Dimash and his Fandom.

Nice reaction! This song was Russian singer Vitas' signature song . It's like a take-off on a Russian folk song so Dimash is wearing a Russian peasant's "great coat". The song tells about a man who builds a house but is still all alone with the wind howling through the cracks ( the glissando into the high notes). Vitas modulated up once and Dimash went two more times. Due to some kind of problems, Di is not allowed to sing this song any more. Greetings from California

If you like the slower dramas, Love of Tired Swans is really great.
However, the "must see" elephant in the room performance is Sinful Passion. I think it gives the most complete showing of Dimash's vocal capability of all his performances to date.
Certainly an unforgettable song. It was originally a pop-rock song composed by Baigali Serkebayev and the band A-Studio (who are on stage with him for the performance).
If you haven't seen it yet, Love is Like a Dream is one of his most recent and is another masterpiece.

Thank you for seeing Di, for me he is The Best, although I am of metal heart, Dimash has conquered me for a long time. And I think also to you; you´re a Dears since you like the person he is, that is a distinction between being a fan of his voice and being a Dear.
This presentation is great, unfortunately Di can't sing Opera 2 anymore because it is from Vitas, and he has not given permission, many believe that Di could reach an octave higher. And much corroborate saying that Di exceeded him , but Vitas is a countertenor and Dimash is not catalogable, because just as he sings loudly, sings bass and we have already seen ... they are different ... My heart is with Dimash .. . thanks again!!!
Do you know Lara Fabian's "Adagio"? she's one of the best vocalist in the world.she sings in english, french and Italian. "Perdere lamore" , "pas sans toi", "Je suis malade", "Broken vows" . They are all great performances.

Proud Dad watching. Shame Vitas took out an injunction to stop him singing this again, mostly because he sang it much better than he ever did. Such a shame he looked adorable singing this 💖

I love your video's and in no way is this meant to be mean. But you need to change the camera angle you look like a ghost.
I dont like his way of singig. Why?No doubt his ability and vocal range is wonderful and his technique is awesome. But singing is not all vocal technique and ability.when he sings its like he want to beat himself and kill the song and show the audiance yes look I can do it easily and then hey look I do it. Ha. This is why Dimash is a fave of vocal teachers. He draws people attention to his vocal range and ability more than the core of music and song and people when listen to him all time say wow. Wow wow. and always ready for his next step. In my opinion this is not the real music and the target of music.he is the best vocalist. Ok. but listen to Lara Fabian. Celine Dion. Mariah Carey. Barbara Streisand..... . They could do a lot up to their vocal limits. But do they it all time and always? No. All singers i mentioned are great vocalist but they have passed this stage and have gone many levels higer. They all are artist mote than vocalist. Being vocalist for them is a mean to show and present and dedicate art to rhe world.They convey and present art not just vocal ability. Always you don't need to sing with your all potential. This is why When it comes to selection I prefer listen to Lara Fabian. Celine Dion .... then dimash. Because I want to enjoy and listen to music and understand music with my heart. I don't want to go watching and listening to a power lifting singing.
