Videos like these are what gave me the confidence to deliver unmedicated. I had my daughter 8 months ago. I walked into the hospital unknowingly at 8cm. I thought I had plenty of time. My water broke and contractions started at 5pm and she was born at 9:15! This feels like watching my own delivery. Especially with the rocking side to side, the complete focus, saying “I can’t!” when she was almost here. It’s so empowering. Especially when so many people basically laughed at me for not wanting an epidural and told me “you don’t know what you want”. I absolutely would have taken one if I needed to. I honestly think the horror stories of the pain are what made me power through. I just kept thinking “well it’s not that bad yet so there must be a long way to go”. Congratulations. Your family is beautiful, you are powerful and so blessed!

If I can do it, you can too future mamas! 🥰 that first moment when she was out, she cried but as soon as the nurses put her on me to do skin to skin, she just stopped crying and sucking her fingers lol! It was so adorable and amazing. I’m still shocked. Good luck mamas out there :)
@@bonolomodise4210 the contractions did hurt but my experience may be different than others. I was 41 weeks and was scheduled to be induced. The morning of my induction, I lost my mucus plug. When I went in, they put the pill in me to help me dilate. A few hours passed and my water broke. Since I was dilating, the nurses decided I won’t get induced anymore. When my water broke, that’s when the contractions really became my worst enemy. When I finally got to push, my baby came out in 5 contractions (nurse told me to push 3 times everytime I had a contraction) Thank the lord!! So I was real lucky she wanted to come out. Ugh but girl my butt bone or tail bone whatever that is whatever that is was hella sore!! I had pelvic pain so getting up and out of bed was uncomfortable.

I'm due in February with my first baby boy and out of all the videos I've been binge watching, this one was by far the most inspiring, beautiful representation of what labor and delivery is all about. This completely helped me ease my mind and believe in myself a lot more going into labor. You're amazing!!! Thank you for sharing this experience!

This video captured the beauty of birth so well! I cried at least 4 times😂 I had my son 5 months ago and this just brought back all the feels. I relate so much to the moment you had when you were almost 10 cm! When they came in and checked me and said I was ready to push I cried and the nurse thought I was crying because I was scared but it was because I was so excited to finally meet him.❤️
This is the type of birth vlog I needed to see! You did so amazing! I am 31 weeks and you gave me the confidence that I can do it with no epidural. Well done mama!
You can, I had five natural births, yes it hurts but you can do it. I had a 2 hr and 10 min labor/delivery with the 1st one and they got shorter each time. I had the last one in 56 minutes from the 1st contraction until birth. I loved natural births, I wanted my babies to come into this world without drugs in their systems. I feel like the babies breathe better and have so much better starts, they nurse better, are alert and bond better.
I just had my 3rd baby July 18th no epidural...what helps is I pray to God during contractions to give me straight I also pretend in my brain that the epidural doesn't exist that they ran out of the medicine. That helps me out so I'm not tempted or think about even asking for it....good luck
Oh girl you got this!!!! ❤️👏🏻 I love hearing that SO MUCH! Becuase there is such beauty in birth and our body in all phases! If you can't for a medical reason then so be it. And even if you were to change your mind, all births are beautiful -- it's life! BUT experinecing it with no epidural and all the power to you and your body is such an indescribale moment and feeling. You were made to do this. Your body has perfectly created your baby in your womb and it can deliver your body. My biggest things is mental state (be positive now in pregnancy and itll translate in birth, pregnancy/labor affirmations... I did Bridgette Teyler playlist on youtube) and your breathing! IN through nose OUT through mouth. It sounds easy until harding surges come on. Once you do those two things you'll be unstoppable with complete mental control and physical control over your body!
That nurse holy moly she was incredible!!! she took control and guided you like a champ through the mental part when you felt like giving up!!!! Holy wow!!! Im sobbing. Congratulations Alyssa and family!
Yes! And people don’t realize that that’s all so many women need! I experienced it myself with my mother helping me and I got through it with her guidance!
Girl you just made my answer final that I want to go all natural!!! I’m due in 8 weeks with my first baby, and honestly so many people have been so negative whenever I tell them I want to deliver unmedicated. But your labor and delivery was just so beautiful, I hope I have a similar experience!

This was absolutely beautiful and quite powerful and empowering. This was really informative to see a different country and their style of Healthcare, though I am glad lol that I live in NZ and we have a totally different style of delivery. No counting to 10 with pushing or making them go again, we let the woman control their pushes and the pace, therefore avoiding more unnecessary tears. In birthing centers or home births there’s more freedom to push how you want but yes hospital births that is the experience, counting to 10. I felt like I was going to pass out when I was pushing

We had very similar birth experiences with our 2nd. At 39+2 I woke up and went to the bathroom. And felt off - around 10am I started having front pelvic pain but brushed them off thinking they were more Braxton Hicks because they weren’t as painful - but I called L&D and started to pack my bags - I went pee and wiped and there was pink blood & I started crying because I knew it was time & it wasn’t gonna just be me and Santiago anymore - similar feelings to you - so I started getting things together around 3 my water broke completely it plopped out into my underwear and do not break - I went over the toilet and boom it came out - and that’s when the contractions started crazy - so I rushed my son to my moms and got to the hospital - while at the hospital they checked me and I had my bloody show and I was 6cm! But it felt like Iwas ready so while in triage I was like hurry pls take me to delivery room - they wheeled me in and I Was just crying - so I get in there and they were trying to get the antibiotic for me and the fentanyl because I refused the epidural (didn’t have one with my first either) but I kept asking to check me and I went from 6-10 in 20 mins and they got me ready just like u and told me to just start when I felt it - so I did & I had the same feeling as you - I can’t do it - I feel I am not pushing right etc but as soon as I crowned they told me open ur eyes! Grab ur baby! And I pulled him out!! As soon as I did I said omg he’s so tiny! Why is he so tiny haha and they said no way he’s perfect - I guess we are just used to seeing a toddler running around we forget how small babies truly are - anyway your birth was beautiful and was very close to mine - we are warriors! Beautiful! My second son Sebastian Antonio was 7lbs 0oz 20 ins born at 5:24 pm

I'm so glad to read this comment my husband and I are expecting our first baby and we are 11weeks along 😁
@@gemma3944 omg congrats girly! Y’all will love parenthood. Wishing you a fast healthy delivery when that day comes and healthy recovery. I read somewhere that yes you have a new baby, but remember that you are also a new mom. Be patient with baby and yourself. You’ll do great 🥰❤️
@@alinasaephan thank you sooo much !!
Omg not long now! I'm due in March with my first and watching the positive videos really motivates me that I can do it! Good luck with your pregnancy ❤️
I hope you had a positive birth experience
How is he????
@@Capricornmoon8 how is he???
How did your labor go!?
Your husband is such a great birth partner!! He was so calm and attentive.
You did amazing mama ❤️❤️❤️
This video captured the beauty of birth so well! I cried at least 4 times😂 I had my son 5 months ago and this just brought back all the feels. I relate so much to the moment you had when you were almost 10 cm! When they came in and checked me and said I was ready to push I cried and the nurse thought I was crying because I was scared but it was because I was so excited to finally meet him.❤️
AWWWWW!!! Ugh i just love that
You’re doctor and nurses are so kind and so reassuring..if I even have a baby I hope to have a medical team like them😭
This is the type of birth vlog I needed to see! You did so amazing! I am 31 weeks and you gave me the confidence that I can do it with no epidural. Well done mama!
Follow badassmotherbirther on insta! You can absolutely do it
YOU CAN 100% do it! do positive brth affirmations/meditations in pregnancy and then into labor
@@LysHeaster what did you use for the affirmations??
You can, I had five natural births, yes it hurts but you can do it. I had a 2 hr and 10 min labor/delivery with the 1st one and they got shorter each time. I had the last one in 56 minutes from the 1st contraction until birth. I loved natural births, I wanted my babies to come into this world without drugs in their systems. I feel like the babies breathe better and have so much better starts, they nurse better, are alert and bond better.
Your partner giving you those affermations, telling you how great you're doing was amazing ❤️
Omg I started crying when she was crowning . You have inspired me to go all natural. I’m due in a couple weeks.
@@LysHeaster thank you so much I needed to hear this 💕💕
@@Miss_Alena. I love this way of thinking !! 💕💕💕💕💕
You can do it!

Getting goosebumps watching this, makes me think of my birth nine months ago, I wish I could be as strong as you were I didn’t manage the pain well but at the end of my journey I was able to give natural birth with no pain meds and delivered a healthy little boy

Wow I’m blown away at how calm you were & even laughing during labor & pushing so calmly! I also had a natural birth & the pain was so intense & excruciating that I don’t even remember yelling & cursing at ppl in the room but my mom told me I definitely did. lol
Haha that’s awesome 🤣🤣🤟🏻
Here i am at 33 weeks crying at the footage of your final pushes. This is inspirational. ❤
Same here but many months down the line 😭 hope you and your little are doing so well!
Congrats! Isn’t it empowering to bring forth life?! I gave birth to my first 4 weeks ago. I went completely natural, unmedicated the whole way through. It was the most hardest and painful thing I’ve ever done, but also the most beautiful. I was so proud of myself and felt so empowered. Knowing that my body DID that!!! Bringing forth my baby! As women our bodies were made to do this!!!
Good for you. Congrats
It's just as empowering to do it medicated. Some of us have no choice eg if we need emergency caesarean etc.

Aw ❤️ I’m so grateful for that!!! Labor is so beautiful to me!!! It’s so doable ❤️🙏🏼
This has me so excited to give birth! I’m due on the 24th and have been wanting to go natural my whole pregnancy. I had to switch doctors three times before finding a midwife who had no problem with me going natural. (The others wanted to induce me for no reason). So amazing! Way to go momma! Your pushing with your second was a lot like mine with my second. With my first when I started pushing it actually offered me a bit of pain relief. But with my second I was in shock because I was expecting that relief with pushing and instead it was so intense and very painful! Our bodies are crazy!

I love watching beautiful raw deliveries, thank you so so much for sharing ❤

Beautiful!
