  • Great Footage of AHT ALP Striker performing her Bollard Pull test off Pohang, South Korea on 9-September 2016. A great result of 309.6 MT Continuous Bollard Pull was achieved!

    here from a Random RUclips feed. Looked it up - of the MOST Powerful tug class in the world ! ( that is by bollard pull) Man it would be a mess if any equipment there failed. Nice and White Line for most of the length. Surprised it aint just pure steel line- or bigger. I feel certain it is not pue only rope.

      Did you say that you wanted to stand in the engine at full engine revolutions to feel all 24,000 bhp, and be cooked and flattened in 1 second and spat out the exhaust stacks ?

    The Alp Forward is best. I see the MAIB report mentions poorly maintained tow line and not calculating windage on a large unmanned oil rig. The Transocean Winner.
