Hi B D, we thank you for informing us about your experience. If the flow rate of the shower is not as high as expectedt it is one or a combination of the following: high pressure shower valve / shower head installed on a low pressure system, blockage in pipework, mains pressure low. High pressure restrictors can be removed from shower heads however certain sprays will never work on low pressure, please contact GROHE. Kind regards, Your GROHE Social Team
@@GROHE thanks for the reply. My previous shower and non grohe taps work fine and the water pressure is fine. Unfortunately the restricters on the Grohe tempesta cosmopolitan rainshower/hand shower diverter slow the water flow so much that i cannot wash the soap off my body unless i spend a extra long time in the shower. This ruins the shower experience and also ends up wasting a lot of water. Btw my plumber checked my water pressure at my shower outlet and said its 4.5 bar
@B D, we would like to clarify something, such a shower system is only used with high pressure. The issue of low pressure as a possible cause is wrong. We don't know the specific model of the your device, because you have not yet named it including its article number, but we suppose that your shower system has flow-limited, i.e. water-saving, components. This is more relevant and important than ever when it comes to saving energy. If you want to increase the flow at all costs, you can irrevocably destroy the built-in flow stabilizer in this water-saving shower. We can send you instructions on how to increase the flow if required. But please, name the purchased model name first and also the article number. Only then we can respond to your question extensively. Kind regards, Your GROHE Social Team
