As a russian I can only confirm that most of our actual *good* music is depressive and sad (For example Viktor Tsoi) because of the environment we grew up in. Destroyed and falling apart Khrushyovkas which were supposed to be temporary places to live in but we did not manage to achieve communism, and fell lower than we'd expect. Poverty, high crime rates, Corruption and Government that cares only about themselves and the Army. This is what influences us and makes our music so depressive even for the western standards.

This is sad. Its about a person that tried to commit suicide but fortunately survived. I definitely had suicidal thoughts and the song actually helps me cope because i realise that im not alone though i never tried to commit suicide. My parents would always fight and my dad would hit me and i would have no friends and if a had some friends the friendship would last only bout a month which lead my to depression and suicidal thoughts 💭. I hope u are doing great! Remember u are not alone! Im not gonna say stuff like it gets better because for alot of people and me the “It gets better” feels very hollow so thats im not gonna be saying “It gets better” line. Remember u will be happy someday just dont commit suicide.

This comment is really heart warming, i love to discuss songs. This song is really great, i think i could probably listen to it for hours. Ive read the lyrics and although they are depressing it’s thought provoking, unlike the lyrics the beat makes you just want to dance. But sometimes you have to find the good in the bad and accept that this is our lives.

This is sad. Its about a person that tried to commit suicide but fortunately survived. I definitely had suicidal thoughts and the song actually helps me cope because i realise that im not alone though i never tried to commit suicide. My parents would always fight and my dad would hit me and i would have no friends and if a had some friends the friendship would last only bout a month which lead my to depression and suicidal thoughts 💭. I hope u are doing great! Remember u are not alone! Im not gonna say stuff like it gets better because for alot of people and me the “It gets better” feels very hollow so thats im not gonna be saying “It gets better” line. Remember u will be happy someday just dont commit suicide.

This is not true. Song about paralyzed man, whose friend died. He wants to look into death's eyes, he wants to know how it is - to be dead, he believes that death the only cure from such a suffering, but he is still afraid of death.

This Gif + Music combination is a powerful feeling of Nostalgia for me, back in my home island watching adult swim at 6PM as the sun was setting but it was perfect because I was a child and I was acting recklessly watching something Inappropriate before everyone came inside at 7PM lol. This comment is really heart warming, i love to discuss songs. This song is really great, i think i could probably listen to it for hours. Ive read the lyrics and although they are depressing it’s thought provoking, unlike the lyrics the beat makes you just want to dance. But sometimes you have to find the good in the bad and accept that this is our lives.
Even before I knew the meaning of the lyrics I feel like you can tell it's a depressing song. I'm depressed, so I liked it then, then I learned the words and I like it now.

This reminds me of those days when you sit under on the floor of your shower, letting the harsh fall of water hit you head like little needles while you think of nothing at all and just stare at some point in the room that may or may not be a part of your reality.

It reminds me of jokes your friends make and share. You know how amusing they find them, how much they laugh at those things. Sometimes you wake up and it's as if you took their place - a Freaky Friday esque scenario - and you can laugh too but it's never for long. It runs dry soon enough. It's almost like you need to be powered by something but you never find fuel that properly fits. You're diesel but they give you benzine.
