  • After numerous requests and genuine interest from a lot of our viewers, we've decided to host what we believe maybe the first of its kind, an open and honest Deer Management series, with Cervus-UK.
Throughout the series of episodes, we will be breaking down every little part of what comprises deer management based on our own tried & tested knowledge and experiences from the field, for the species we deal with within our own areas - including Muntjac, Roe and Fallow deer.
In this episode we will be showing you how we setup our mineral licks to increase deer traffic, whilst giving insight on why and how we believe this technique is vital in maintaining healthy deer populations.

Some people try to say it's not going to dissolve. It's salt it's going to dissolve in the rain! I don't have a chainsaw but I will find a stump that will be adequate for my whitetail deer

I so would love to live in an area that has wild Fallow deer and Muntjac!!
I have cared for both species!
I'm just setting up assault block outside my home in the woods in Michigan. Just had a few questions. It won't dissolve in the rain? My woods go up a dune hill so I'll find some kind of stoop to put it on.

Is this a rebar stake? Do you drill a hole in the mineral lick?
