I was trying to help him as I watched! So nice of him to let you share this. I admire your patient and gentle “chairside” manner. I pray he does well with his new knee.
When I rewatched I was the same way. Wanted to reach into the phone and help. Haha. Thanks for watching and your kind words.
Perfect balance of compassion, knowledge, and independence building
I was willing him up and hope he is recovering well, very brave of him to let Tony share this.
He is a great guy. He has been around my clinic for nearly a decade. He is like family.
Tony , I had a lot of pain in that area!! Cryogenic therapy really helped me!!!!
Thanks for sharing.
I'm 19 years old facing the same problem after accident
Patients are always concerned about the “direction” of the foot, honestly its 99.9% a rotation of the hip, since your whole leg is weaker, you instinctively increase your gait suspension angle to gain a bit more stability. I love this videos Tony, tons of tips for my patients.
In general your patients are “same day surgery” or do they require over 48h hospitalization?
Yes, most are outpatient procedures here. I started to mention the hip rotation but then got off topic. Thanks for the support!
please any advice on signs u need MUA? 5 weeks op , pain really bad as in never below 6 . pretty good extension , bend is minimal , and impossible to do physio exercises due to pain . sleep is terrible. i am on my feet lots during the day , but the pain is in quad , knee calf and back of my knee and leg , thank you
Get your nose over your toes and lean forward. Standing up from a sitting position can sometimes be tricky, especially when your on the loo
He should bring his good leg forward more
