I really respect this guy for doing dad duties. I wonder if he could rewind time, what would he have done different. What would he tell someone who is going down that same path today.
Very very very humble man! No bragging just reflecting on everything honestly, good with the bad.
As long as the standard for us set so low meaning most parents don’t show up so jus showin up is enough in our community the trajectory of our community is still complete failure I realized this myself it’s up to us to outside of school have that positive influence on our kids and fill their days as best possible with positive healthy activities with a safe environment to be able to live instead of jus bein in the hood surrounded by poverty jus surviving
You never let police into your home...If they have a warrant to enter the premesis make them break down the door, if they have a warrant for an individual that doesn't always give them the right to enter your home.

Definitely saved a few ppl I know from growing up in Baltimore..soo many of them went to prison and came home to almost all their friends and family dead. My family member been incarcerated since 2019 and since then he has loss around 10 ppl including his 2 cousins, and his best friend. It's weird to say this but I'm kinda glad he hasn't been on the streets because the night his best friend was killed I know for sure he would have been there with him. They were always together gambling on the block. So jail definitely has saved him as it sometimes does save people's lives fr!
@@kesha297 sorry for your losses,but sometimes prison be a message to slow you down and it saves a lot of lives,I've had friends get out of prison and a week later get killed,the world is just a crazy place ALOT of people first time going to prison they be kicking and clawing,they just don't know God put them there for a reason..

What’s the point of doing that, there’s hoods everywhere they kid is who they is. Moving doesn’t change who they are they could relocate and find the same activities in the new location because that’s just how they wired .

You can tell a child all day not to do something but if the child feels like doing it they gonna do it, you don’t blame the parent when they’ve already told you not to do it. The environment is the issue. All these people ain’t bad parents just the environment turn kids into other things. It’s up to the kids to wanna make the change to be different then they environment . You could have a child and teach your child to protect they self you tell them somebody hit you you hit them back you tell them that to defend themselves and not let anyone hurt them, and for their safety , if somebody in school hits them and they hit them back somebody gone say that’s bad parenting but it’s not to you right because you teaching them to protect themselves . My brother was lock up before, it's true have them teens parents don't even show up or write letters to them. I remember in 2005 I had to write my little brother that our mom was set on fire and doctors saying she not going to make it through the night. Told him about my high school graduation that year too. His nephew just turn 4 years old. So kept him update on everything in 2005. He was 18 years old at the time. It's 2023, our mom made it to see 65th soon be birthday. He now 35 years old never been back in the lock system since he was his teens. In his 20 he busy by working a lot and finally have his own little family.
