I wouldnt say Eliras phobia is on the same level per say or even close. Just because she stated cartoon fish arent scary, such as Mario or Pokemon. She was even able to do 95% of Outer wilds and explore much of the fish areas. Mika also has a similar fear although I believe she was able to play Iron Lung and she did underwater taming and exploration in Ark survival. Hyona also has fears but she was able to play SOMA and Abzu. But then again i think Lizes is so great precisely because of her childhood trauma like you said.
Thalassophobia is one of the few common phobias that are completely rational. The fear of drowning, as well as the dangerous creatures beneath the water surface, is deeply primal.

As a recreational diver, I enjoy being underwater cos its pretty calming and the scenery is nice Ive never met any sea creature even 1/3 the size of me yet so i might be afraid of big sea creatures hmms Thanks for the video and I now learn not to traumatize children now :)
Honestly alot of people ive seen in Nijisanji have this fear. Shame though since there’s some great games that take place underwater. If Subnautica was co op then im sure more people could feel comfortable playing it since it’s actually not even a horror game more so a Survival Craft with mystery elements. But the initial part of isolation and being exposed leaves an impression of immense fear before people reach base building and exploration.

Lize-sama's fear seems pretty rational, Jaws might be the sole reason sharks have such a screwed up reputation to this day, which is messed up because dolphins managed to keep their good rep despite being literal hell spawns of the ocean lol
What are the chances she's going to play Subnautica? Also, how about pitch for elira to watch those Casual Geographic videos about the ocean is actually deeper thing?
I hope she doing fine in explore fontaine since Hoyo toned down the ocean's scariness to disney level with their BGM and lots of lighting. also mob is kind of cute compared to abomination things in subnactica. It's even worse when some area has "nothing" cuz it's just make your imagination run wild. the first playthrought is really hard cuz I slowly going down while constantly building temp base and finding lots of titanium to craft light on the way cuz I need to place to relax and feel safe lol.

I used to be her member during lockdown but I stopped like, last year ? since I don't have time to chilling, watching gaming stream again. if she's also not streaming there then GI probably not interested her anymore then.
@@sitachan5778Old thread yes, lize's fear of water is incredibly extreme, she stopped streaming right after finishing nahida's 2nd story quest, which means only fontaine was left on the table, i don't think she can handle it even though hoyo tried their best to make the underwater section feel safe. If you read the comment section of that last stream, the jp viewers are also not sure why she stopped but they're extremely certain that fontaine is the cause

Lize hasnt touched Genshin on stream again since patch 3.8. I think she doesnt play the game on stream anymore
