Sad part is that these things u work with are easy to understand but the activities I get at school are way to hard I try to do everything I just won’t get the answer but I’ll get there
hello may i ask, is the final answer for x y and z is fixed?? i did manage to get all 0 and 1 in the respective slot but my answer for x y and z from your question is different
@@Akuao_ so the key thing is to make the entries below the leading diagonals go to zero. 1. Perform the operation on row 2, using R1 and R2 2. Do same for row 3, using R1 and R3. 3. Then lastly you perform the operation on row 3 using row 2 and 3
Meaning always when solving( 2:35 ) all the systems of linear equations using gaus jordan I always multiply the third row by 3 or how and where do I get the number that I multiply with?? Please sir help me🥺
This is on how I get my first zero on the second row now, I’m confused on where and how the number to multiply the 3rd row is got Which number from the system do I use to multiply with 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️

@@SkanCityAcademy_SirJohn I’m lost? To performing the operations on row two, I got so confused when I was trying to solve this other question and I’m not getting a zero after using a second row operation Like how you stated

Yes please gradually.
@@SkanCityAcademy_SirJohn can you help me with this one please bro
3x + 7y=21
2x + 2y + z=24
X + 3y=9
Does it mean that i can use different approach to arrive at the same answer ? Like the adding and subtraction
Yes, only if you are doing the right thing
For my first step, iI swapped R1 and R3 in order to put the [1 1 -2] in the first row, is there a problem with this?
That's a smart move, thumbs up
This is great and straight forward...keep up the good work brother...
Thank you so much Clinton

Yes please, the values of x, y and z are fixed values. You might have missed something somewhere. Recheck okay...
Good luck friend.
@@SkanCityAcademy_SirJohn in the video 4:34, for R3= R1 -2 (R3), can i use R3= 2(R3) - R1 ???
yes, you can@@andrewooi3648
thank you, i will ask any question if needed

@andrewooi3648 ok
Thanks sir, also help us with the Linear algebraic equations in matrix
Great, do you mean solving the equations simultaneously??
Yes please @@SkanCityAcademy_SirJohn
Please sir how do I know when to use row echelon form and reduced row echelon form?
Row echelon form = Gaussian Elimination
Reduced Row echelon form= Gauss Jordan
@@SkanCityAcademy_SirJohnThank you sir
God bless you
Thanks so much Abiba
Thank you
You are most welcome
You are the best!
Thanks so much
Is there a specific order to eliminate?
As in? Can you explain further?
How do you know which one to eliminate first . I don’t know if this helps

I have a problem with a question I’m working on. Is there a way I could reach out to you?
On this same Gaussian Elimination ?
Yes

Like how you stated
I taught you always use r1 and r2, and r1 and r3 instead of r2 anf r3
You can use r2 and r3 for the 2nd forward elimination step
