    Sad part is that these things u work with are easy to understand but the activities I get at school are way to hard I try to do everything I just won’t get the answer but I’ll get there

    For my first step, iI swapped R1 and R3 in order to put the [1 1 -2] in the first row, is there a problem with this?

    hello may i ask, is the final answer for x y and z is fixed?? i did manage to get all 0 and 1 in the respective slot but my answer for x y and z from your question is different

      Yes please, the values of x, y and z are fixed values. You might have missed something somewhere. Recheck okay...

      Row echelon form = Gaussian Elimination
      Reduced Row echelon form= Gauss Jordan

      How do you know which one to eliminate first . I don’t know if this helps

      @@Akuao_ so the key thing is to make the entries below the leading diagonals go to zero.
      1. Perform the operation on row 2, using R1 and R2
      2. Do same for row 3, using R1 and R3.
      3. Then lastly you perform the operation on row 3 using row 2 and 3

    Meaning always when solving( 2:35 ) all the systems of linear equations using gaus jordan I always multiply the third row by 3 or how and where do I get the number that I multiply with??

      But these steps could help.
