Raspberry Almond Thumbprint Cookies (4 points per cookie on Weight Watchers) I goofed in this video. I should have rolled each cookie into a ball. See directions below!
    cmx.weightwatc...
    All-purpose flour
    2cup(s)
    Baking powder
    1⁄2tsp
    Table salt
    1⁄4tsp
    Sugar
    3⁄4cup(s), granulated
    Unsalted butter
    1⁄3cup(s), softened
    Whole milk
    1⁄4cup(s)
    Almond extract
    1tsp
    Sliced almonds
    1⁄2cup(s), lightly toasted and chopped
    Cooking spray
    4spray(s)
    Reduced sugar raspberry jam
    1⁄3cup(s)
    Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
In another medium bowl, using an electric mixer, cream together sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add milk and almond extract; beat well.
Stir flour mixture and almonds into sugar mixture until combined; cover bowl and refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Coat 2 cookie sheets with cooking spray.
Roll level tablespoons of dough into 32 balls; place about 1 inch apart on prepared cookie sheets. Press an indentation into center of each ball using your thumb. Using a small spoon, fill indentions with jam.
Bake until bottoms of cookies turn golden brown, about 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and leave on cookie sheets for 1-2 minutes; remove to a wire rack to cool completely. Yields 1 cookie per serving.

These look good. I adore almond extract. I checked out your other 2 cookie videos & bookmarked them to try. I wasn't motivated to bake this year but made several different candies.

We love thumbprints! Raspberry is our favorite! I am thinking about making a batch with my homemade Christmas jam!

That would be so good with your homemade jam. I was supposed to roll the dough into balls, not do drops of dough. I’m a horrible baker😂🎄

Love thumbprints, but would definitely change out the raspberry for something else. The marmalade sounded like a god idea, especially if using a chocolate dough. 😁

I tried marmalade in my Hamentashen, they didn't come out nice like Preserves or jams, kind of made a mess of the pan...use parchment paper to help with clean up

@@loripawlowskireitsma9259 thank you for letting me know. Once I made my video, my husband broke out the parchment paper lol. And I should have rolled that dough and then pushed my thumb in the middle. I made them wrong in the video. I am a horrible baker! Merry Christmas Lori💕🎄
