The first time I watched the episode with miles and Sean I thought I was going to die. The build up of them chipping on each other over the ferret pen culminating with Sean offering to not spit was the funniest slam I think I'd ever heard, and mile's comeback was perfection. Even Jimmy was laughing into the next segment, and interrupted filming.

corden is a good host in that he puts the focus on his guests. i'm not saying he's a comic genius. he does, however, fight his insanely strong urge to hog the spotlight. it's a lot, but he fights it with professionalism, regardless of failing so very, very often.
