Neon Top8 Rewards is SS18 Cena, Gothic Drew, Neon Lio Rush and Shattered Bobby Lashley. That's it. The fact that you can only get a card from one tier above your Top8 makes me want to quit. Again no chance for Neon players to Pro their event cards. I know there's a lot of players that are going to say "Neon players should be happy to get another Shattered card" or something the like, but what for? In the past Pros of a tier have been weaker than the Singles of the next but one tier (SS18 Single > WM34 Pro, Gothic Single > Goliath Pro, Neon Single > SS18 Pro) which made higher tier single cards actually worth having (they were actually an improvement to your decks). For Shattered however this isn't the case. Shattered singles are somehow weaker than Gothic Pros. So if you're Gothic or Neon tier in your Top8 deck and have a deck of Gothic Pros you can now get your hands on these Shattered singles (from events), but they will just sit there in your collection and you won't have any use for them. They're non beneficial to your decks. They won't boost your Top8. And since you cannot get the counterpart for them from the draft board until you hit Shattered tier, they're pretty much worthless aside from looking dope AF. There's literally no point left to grind RTG for the event cards if you're below Shattered, except for the images (and who would do that, it's a drag to +1/+2 through more than one card), because you have no chance to get the counterpart to make it pro and the singles aren't "useable". It is hard enough to get to Shattered tier in RD where you don't need female cards. Thus, the decision to make OTT based on Top8 is boggling my mind. With the pull rate as it is now (plus the even worse pull rate for females) it's ludicrous to think this is a good decision if they care at all about free players. It would be ok if we were able to get cards from two tiers above your Top8 tier, but the way it is now, it's just.. i can't even.. just no. Back when they announced S5 they stated that the goal was to enable players, both new and old, to progress faster than before. But in reality they're slowing people down. Unless they spend. A lot. Like A LOT. I myself spent quite a bunch of coins this week because I was trying to get to Shattered in RD (I need one more Neon Pro) and ended up getting 10 Neon packs. Six of those contained Shattered male superstars, which should be exciting news.. except it's not (for previously stated reasons). So even spending money in a reasonable amount is kinda pointless unless you have crazy good luck with the packs.
And they must make to get higher tier in trd. If i am in a team of gothic tier we must go first for gothic and then neon. So that many free player will play more and more.
wow I'm actually a little disappointed now because of the packs instead of just being a specific tier card, like if you're neon the top pack should just say 1x Superstar (Neon) it seems like it'd feel bad to get a card not even in your tier for the top reward imo.

OTL has given me a lot: Pro in Drew gothic and Pro in Lio neon (which Lio can bump me into neon for crack at 1st shattered card of S5)
