Great vid I figured it would be an easy install I replaced my grill with an rst grill so it was easy to run the wiring harness without the grill or shroud in the way.
I watched the entire video because I don't have much of a life a month after knee replacement surgery. Any advice after installation is complete may help others, but I was wondering if the lighted bowtie made the truck go faster or improved fuel economy.
who woulda thought. I seriously thought the rear badge would have been held in place my small bolts / nuts, not adhesive. that's kinda disappointing. but no one would ever know unless they wanted to swap it out.. My bow tie is already black, so no need to be concerned with that. I am highly interested in the illuminated badge though. that looks sharp
Another great video Chris wished I had the patience to do some of the things that you do. I also have a C5 Corvette been very blessed very little bit of problems. Keep up the great work man I enjoy all of your videos. Love your new truck also.
I have a 2017 Chevy colorado zr2 and I purchased the truck with an illuminated front chevy Emblem..it seems to be shorting out or not coming on at all anyone have a clue how and why I'm having this problem..ty
Thought to myself when you put the cables in the conector, hmm shoulnt you do that efter you feed the wires trough :D I would allso have tested the light before i installed it (just put the two wires on the battery terminal) so i knew it worked, sucks to have to take it all apart again. You should allso have drilled with a smaller drill first so the big drill didnt have a chance to walk away like it did. Just a little advise for next time, not trying to be a critic just all kind advise.
@@Glide1992 That realy wasnt my meaning with the comment :( I can see that he is doing fine, just wanted to be helpful. Im here cuz i enjoy the videos same as you.
Folks, do NOT use a center punch on plastic. I cringed when he used the center punch. You take a chance of cracking the plastic. Use a small drill bit then use a bigger one or a unibit. Center punches are made for metal.
Does it blink when using the turn signal? Also, does the light up badge come in other colors? My truck has the gold badge and I want to keep that color for the onset of the badge.
Great product, Easy installation BUTTT those wire harness clips are a mofo!! Spent half the time trying to undo the clip, everything else was quick. Great step by step video and such a clean install. Installed on a 2018 Tahoe
How do you know which wiring harness to get? I plan on getting a lit bow tie emblem for my 2012 Chevy Colorado. I just don’t know which wiring harness to get can anyone help?
LOL ... was I the only one yelling at their computer "DON"T PUT THE CONNECTOR ON YET!!! " :-)
i was actually pointing at my screen
I was actually saying don’t do it as well.
Same here
Nope 🤣
I would love to have that bow tie you are taking off the silver and black looks cool!
I don't see a link to where you bought this from. Any help on that please?
Where did you buy it?

Could I put this bow tie on any car that uses halogen headlights like an uplander?
Would you say it was easier to get the bowtie off because you loosened the grill or do you think it doesn't matter either way?
is there a part number
Looks awesome Chris😎👍🏾🔥💯
Very nice. Wish there were other colors for the light. I'd prefer it red.

No there is no reason that the new bow tie would improve performance at all it just makes your Chevy look cooler
Very good instructions on this. Very helpful.
I got to say that dental floss trick was brilliant
Where can I get the led bowtie?

I WANT PINK!!!
I wanted to know if lighted chrome bow ties are available and can an illuminated bow tie be installed in the rear?
No, and no. They have black and gold. Only front is illuminated.
Where did you get the emblem
GM Accessories
I don't think the illumination bow tie is bright enough. I would like to cut out the original light and install an LED. Is that possible?

You are coming off as critical and annoying. Start your own channel. Chris is doing just fine without your help.

By any chance you know if it will fit a 06 Silverado or have the link the eBay or Amazon to see if the seller has it for that model
No it won’t fit.

It does not blink. It is available in the standard hood as well.

As soon as you put the plug together, I said that's not going to fit through the hole lol...sometimes you have to think ahead
Hi. Where'd you connect the bowtie to? With the headlights?
Yes. I showed it in this video.
