The second half of the fight was so cool reminded me of the mine cart boss from gunstar heroes where you could jump from other sides of the wall and cielings

I haven't beaten Merga yet, so I don't know if there's a phase beyond Silver Moon, but THIS was the fight that had me the most hyped! Rival fights are always my favorites, and this just FEELS like a rival fight!
tip: use potions and items. i find that the extra petals when reviving is a helpful potion in this boss. also, if you are still stuck, there is assist stuff in the options menu
@@tempest6027 Oh, I've beaten her now. In fact, after beating her with all four characters, getting all the time capsules, and going back to get the true ending, I knew that fight so well I beat her without any continues and no items.
imma need someone to mod her as a playable character.

Wouldn't mind her as DLC. Seems like she could have an interesting playstyle. Would love to see more of her if there ever is a Freedom Planet 3.
Why does this tune feels so... sad?
Because Corazon is Carol's sister. No one wants to fight family - hence this song was originally called: Broken Family

@@AndrewTheHacker-MusicFile It does sound a lot better with the spectacle of the fight and the sounds of battle going on all through it. Punches through the noise just enough to give the fight a tragic undertone. Made up for making me wait for the fight for so long. They did a good job getting me emotionally invested.
The name of the song is Broken Family. And Corazon is Carol’s Older Sister you can feel the sadness of it when you do Corazon’s Final fight as Carol on the Bakunawa in Clockwork Arboretum Corazon loses it before the fight after saying this while shouting “YOU SHOULD OF STAYED AWAY! Now I have no choice.” where Carol responds with this “Cory No!” but has to fight Carol to the death otherwise Merga would withdraw her promise of Protection on Carol and Corazon herself and the rest of the Tea family. Then after Carol defeats Corazon Merga does one her Eclipse attacks in attempt to kill Carol but Corazon pushes Carol out of the way to take the hit instead which severely injures Corazon which almost causes Carol to breakdown. Then Merga tells Carol to leave the Bakunawa intermediately so Carol may have a chance to save Corazon. Then Carol then intermediately contacts Mila via her communicator to say she’s bringing her sister to the Rest area on the Ship which is before the Refinery room level.
The second half of Corazon's last fight was so sick, just wish she had a few more attacks. It got a bit repetitive and easy for being so late into the game.

This boss bugged on me, Corazon shot downwards during the second phase and was never seen again. Had to restart the fight....
