I slowed this clip down to .5 and notated each step. As far as I can tell its about an 8 step process to bookmark a song from a real book, and another 2 to put it in a set list.
Paul, thank you again. As you probably noticed, you need first to "separate" the tunes from the rest by setting in the layout option. Make sure to enter the number of the last page of the tune in the "item's" options
I appreciate the effort that went into this tutorial but need to admit that I found it very hard to follow. I've spent the weekend trying to figure out how to make setlists from indexed real books and have found the experience to be exasperating. If the author was willing to slow things down and explain what is being done, it would be a tremendous service to the jazz community who may also be trying to use this incredible and quirky resource. Thanks.
Thanks for your comment and you're right, this video is too fast... I will try to make a better up one soon. 🙏🏻 This workaround is for making the bookmarks to be complete "items" to add them to playlists and sharing them. Hello Alec. I am trying to purchase the real book index and some transcriptions from the site but nothing is going through.
Sorry for the inconvenience, it was sorted
Hi. Where can I find a csv file for Real Book 6? Doing my own would turn me grey before I finished. Thanks,Rob.

Great idea for a video, but it needs to be slowed down and explained verbally. Just too hard to follow otherwise.
ps. Opera doesn't follow the links posted above.
