- Today my dad and I went to Pymatuning Reservoir for the first time this season. We experienced some boat troubles for the first hour and a half, but thankfully we were able to get back out on the water and catch a wide variety of species. We also ran into some keeper walleye while using Berkley Flicker Shads which turned the day around for us!

This is a great video, you've definitely taught me a couple things in watching some of your videos so far
I appreciate it and am happy to help!
Love the flicker shad.. great video… maybe some pliers and a rubber net will be good purchases for you guys though they would both help!
I appreciate it, I got both of them for Christmas to make things a little easier for us!
Hi Alex nice video, but you never disclose area of lake where you are.. Will you disclose in future outings? Lets hope so... Thanks😃
Glad you enjoyed! I typically fish the south end of Pymatuning and occasionally at the causeway
@@alexlannyfishing8317 I'm heading to Pymatuning in the morning for the weekend. Going to be kayak fishing. From the video that looks like just North of the state park marina? That's where I'll be trying to get on my yak. Great videos and thanks for sharing.
Great video man🎣🤙🏾
Thank you!
Nice vid. Just got a spot out there, will be hunting walleyes. Got caught in a storm night fishing on Saturday lol, wasnt fun
Thank you and good luck! Hope the weather’s clear when you head out
Hey, I'm pretty sure that was a warmouth not a pumpkinseed. They're nasty little critters lol. Great video!!
Thanks! My sunfish identification isn’t the best I appreciate it!
@@alexlannyfishing8317 humble man I see??! I fall short on many many areas as well! 🤣
More videos would be nice!! Do you ever troll for walleye?
I’m hoping to get to Pymatuning in the next couple weeks! I’ve heard trolling is a fantastic way to catch them up there but I’ve never got around to it
@@alexlannyfishing8317 awesome! Yes I’ve had some luck trolling with flicker shads. I’ll be waiting for more vids forsure!
It seems that the only quality of this video on RUclips is in 360p even though it was originally uploaded in 1080p. Apologies for the low resolution! If you enjoyed this video please like and subscribe!
Really enjoying your videos! Pymy is one of my (new) favorite lakes. Did you launch at the campground ramp? Nicely done and keep the videos coming!!
Thanks man! We tend to launch wherever it’s the least crowded hahaha
@@alexlannyfishing8317 Nicely done....lol.
I love fishing at Brad's lake. Never caught anything from the dam but there's 2 spots next to the boat ramp in the shade I can get my wheelchair to. Pickerel Yello perch and bluegills is all I ever catch
I’ve never been there or caught a pickerel before, I’ll have to check that place out! Tight lines!🎣
What are some good colors you like with the flicker shad?
Can’t go wrong with silver and gold! In stained or muddy water something with chartreuse would be great too
Like watching your fishing trips ! What part of the lake do you like to fish ?
I'm gad you enjoy them! We usually fish the south end of the lake
keep em coming
Will do!🎣
I was up there rippin walleye on Saturday
That’s great to hear, they’ve definitely been biting
Nice video man. How do you like those pflueger president spinning reels? I've had my eye on one for awhile now.
Thanks, they’re really nice! I’ve been using them for a couple years now and don’t have any complaints. Everything is super smooth and I haven’t had any problems. I’d definitely recommend you get one!
You’d think that was the first walleye you ever caught 😂
It had been such a long time since my last one, I was definitely excited😂
Thats a great day, Awesome video. Is that the south end of the lake ?
Thanks, and yep!
Niiiiiiiice

You might want to invest in a better net
