- In this outing my grandparents and I decided to drift around Pymatuning with worms in search of anything that wanted to bite. We caught a multitude of species as well as a lake monster near the end of the day! Hope you enjoy this Pymatuning fishing outing!

Hey Alex, another great day of fishing. Thanks for sharing.
Of course, glad you enjoyed!
Really like that rod and reel you are fishing with. Can't go wrong with night crawlers on a jig.
Thanks! Gotta love fishing with night crawlers, never know what you’re gonna hook into!
Great video. I've never had enough patience to use jigs but I'm going to try to use them again.
I agree, definitely have to get used to a long retrieve time. But it pays off!
New respect for Zebco reals for sure! Nice catch!
Jesus, is very good to us!
The Gospel of John, sooner than later precious souls.❤️
I'm going out and buy a zebco baitcaster... Like when I was a kid..L. O. L.
For the price they’re not too bad at all!
What in the world do you call that casting method?
Which one?
it looks like a white bass, not actually a sriped bass but look for the telltail tooth patch on the tounge to know if you're legal.
I agree, don’t think there’s too many lakes around here with a striped bass population
Aren't there hybrids that are similar?
@@leekflower1 yep, although I’m not too great with my identification on those species. Pretty sure it has something to do with the different stripe patterns
What lb test are you using
I typically run 10lb test mono. I’ve even hooked some muskie on it and as long as you play them right you’ll land bigger fish
@@alexlannyfishing8317 ok that makes me feel better because that's around what I use and I thought it was too heavy. Turns out I'm either fishing at the wrong time of year or I suck at fishing or both. Lol. Pymatuning is on fire right now!!!
@@leekflower1 It definitely took me a bit to understand that fishery, but you’ll be catching in no time!
Did you jig for the walleye, drift, or throw it and let it sit?
We do all of the above, just depends on the day
