Dooku is garbage outside of 1s. He can’t do anything to someone farther than three feet away and doesn’t have a crowd control ability to take on multiple people. You literally just have to run around with a lightsaber and hope you don’t get cooked by a blaster or force abilities
He's also the slowest saber villain. That bugged lunge attack that won't lunge you at the opponent and the fact that his dashes cover less distance compared to every other force dash. You know what this means? Dooku can't get close to someone quickly as a melee character (lmao), can't chase anybody because of the bugged lunge attack and dashes that actually reduce your overall speed.

This is why I never use him in supremacy, you’re just asking to put your team at a deficit

I love Dooku for HVV tho. I spam that third ability and it bypasses any saber or blaster does giving health on the light side, slows them down, and is an unblockable like Rey’s ability. But nobody ever uses on my team. They don’t think it only works for them. It works for your entire team.

His lightning should've had the ability to chain further and a longer range. Expose weakness is inconsistent..sometimes it works most times it doest
That's because expose weakness can be dodged, you actually have to land the ability
@xx-cl8xt Expose weakness activates regardless. Dodging shouldn't stop it from functioning properly lol. "Count Dooku influences his target with slower movement" apparently not.
Expose weakness ironically leaves Dooku exposed himself

Expose Weakness would be decent if it works as an AoE ability like Obi Wan/Rey's Mind Trick
I found that Finesse, Sith control, and Initiative are the best for his kind of playstyle.
Activating duelist or using expose weakness is basically announcing to the entire enemy team that you want to go on the offensive or who you are going to rush down if they see you pose for it, not to mention expose weakness leaves you vulnerable for a few seconds making it not the safest ability to use in 2v1 situations. The passive damage bonus really comes into play if you double parry someone during a duel and really catches a lot of players off guard since they assume it's safe to be aggressive with you if you don't have duelist active.
Dooku is a very up close fighter so he needs all the health regen he can get to be on the frontline all the time and I found that flanking with him in hvv can be very viable against blaster heroes since he has no other way to close the distance between them, The extra health regen can also help you stay alive long enough for you to safely fight multiple sabers or hold out long enough for your team to help you out.
Kind of a basic star card set up but I've seen success with it, hope this helps 👍

Dooku is a feels good character but if your fighting any decent player that knows their shit you wont do much with Dooku

Honestly Dooku just needed a remaster on his abilities, like buffing his lightning stun to consistently deal 180 damage and have a much larger range and replace expose weakness with a frenzy or something similar would make him such a better hero.

Use his cards that give you bonus damage with expose weakness and duelist. Then constantly use those two. Use your lightning stun almost purely defensively, or if someone is at 1 health.
Hmmm I almost always use his lightening offensively so imma try to switch it up

My suggestion is to remove either master duelist, or inviantive, and replace it with Sith control. You really only need one star card that deals higher damage. This allows you to be more offensive with dooku, while not worrying about suffering a penalty for such action.
This is a solid point, gonna adjust accordingly
i laughed so hard when that guy said that he was unsubscribing. like really dude? id be honored to even face you. and i know id lose. i also feel like when single digits start to happen on either side the team should just pack tactic. at least until they have a lead and both are in single digit numbers.
For Dooku, I normally increase his stun range, use the Star card so his third ability lasts longer, and I can’t remember what I use for the first one. I think the one where his health comes all the way back. I usually just spam the third ability so my team mates can also have that damage increase, and do as much crowd control as possible with blasters by stunning them.
Of course, if my team mates are bad, than Dooku won’t last long.

Yea Dooku is accurate in being one of the best 1v1 duelist but every other aspect is subpar. Yoda I can’t lie, I’m glad he’s not as good bc if they were to make the hero with the smallest hitbox and fastest movement speed the strongest, I would’ve lost it 💀

You are spamming your lightning ability. Use it only when you can do a follow up or you need to save a teammate. Dooku doesn't have long range CC abilities, so stick around with heroes like Kylo who has them. Dooku is the first one to protect blasters if they are under pressure, you don't have to chase people all the time, let them come to you. Play with your teammates and you will get easy first places by score.
Replace the initiative card with a +20% damage card. Why doesn't anyone use the ability to detect weaknesses?! One of Dooku's strongest abilities
Yeaaa as much as i like count dooku...hes a lil lacking in this game...low health...lack of crowd control abilities....i wanted to main him but i struggle a bit..a good clone commando can take him down
Yea this one is too real. Clone Commandos can just sit back and use their launcher to chip away 300 HP for free while Dooku has to either hide and hope he is out of range or attack and risk losing even more HP.
