Joanne Froggatt stars in the incredible new drama Breathtaking, taking a look at the real stories of NHS workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Based on the book of the same name by Dr Rachel Clarke, and adapted by Rachel, Jed Mercurio and Prasanna Puwanarajah (both former junior doctors), Breathtaking takes us into the hospitals and lives of NHS medics as they battle COVID, through multiple UK national lockdowns.
Joanne gives us a look behind the scenes and tells us what to expect from this new drama, how it felt to take on these stories, and the challenges of filming such an emotional series.
Breathtaking airs on Monday the 19th of February at 9pm on STV and STV Player.
