For activity A, if the crash duration would be 1, still you won't crash it. Can you please explain why? Why it is a good idea and why it is a bad idea?
Hey i did a 2 part video solving this exact problem and explaining everything, it's here: ruclips.net/video/ZOW2QU_sbJ4/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/0oBUxrpzWhM/видео.html
Hello. Very helpful video. My only question is if it is possible to do partial crashing? For example, I need to reduce the days of a project by 3, but the crash duration of the next cheapest option is 5. How can I calculate the cost for this activity after partial crashing?

when crashing a project do we have to concentrate on task with least expensive gradient or path with least slack?
Very clear explanation! Thank you!
Thanks alot
E is written as preceded by E&F while it should be D&F!
Good eye, thanks for pointing it out, I've added your note to the description!
Shouldnt it be C,D since F would have the predecessor E not vice versa ???
What if the fixed cost is not mentioned in the question? Do we assume something?
If you're not given a fix cost, don't worry and be happy, assume there is none.

I cant see the bottom chart layout... too blurry
Can u help me in a question?
Hi can you please tell me how to crash an activity if its in critical path and it’s normal time is less than crash time?
Normal time less than crash time sounds like a typo, I'd ask your professor to make sure it's not.
Nice one
Thank you so much 🌹
Thanks for the rose! Glad you liked the video :)
