I don't see why some people say panda aren't meant to survive in the wild, they can climb, they are vegetarian and are less likely to starve, they even have teeth and claws to fend for themselves, they can't survive because of human, just like all other animals.

Well, baby pandas are about the size of a mouse when they are born, and are born without sight, hearing, or the ability to feed itself or the ability to poo for the first 6 weeks. The mother often 'leaves' the baby to feed bamboo - which takes them a long time to digest. Pandas are more likely to die in the wild, due to vulnerability. After the panda is grown, like after 6 months, it's true they have no natural predators, but before that they could be eaten or attacked by other animals, including male pandas or bears, eagles, owls etc. Human deforestation is one of the reasons - mainly because there are less bamboos etc, and pandas need 40 pounds of bamboos a day! Another reason is that they are solitary animals, and they only have 24-48 hours to reproduce a year! And they are very picky about their mate - both male and female. If they miss the window, they won't be able to have a panda until maybe the following year. And they can take between 3 - 8 months gestation period, many 'impregnation' is unsuccessful, because often the male panda is inexperienced or isn't able to 'have sex'. Their sexual activity can take just merely 15 seconds! Also because they like to walk around a lot, and many roads are now built in mountainous areas which cut their paths. However, recently in China in the Qinling and Sichuan areas where the pandas are from, local government have created 'the panda paths', where the routes of wild pandas are joined, so they can walk without the danger or cars etc. A lot of them get hurt or catch or kinds of diseases, and some even sought help in villages in China. Humans don't kill them anymore, it's actually the death penalty in China to kill a panda, but I've never heard of a case where this has happened.

Panda choose what they want to eat.
