Thank you , this was amazing to watch ! Every different stage was beautiful ! I am shocked that you don’t sell your work , I don’t think you would have to try too hard either 😊The beaded dress was indeed very yummy. It would have been interesting to see the different “faces” of the artwork as a gradual transition across the canvas as the transformation developed.you can always add another canvas if you’ve got some dress left, and keep the story going ! 😂.
So happy I found you. As a 72 year old perpetual student, I too allow other voices in my work and am often driven by them, I am very insecure in my work. This should be fun right? You are fun! You allow yourself to change your mind.
I have some small bits and pieces from a black beaded dress or top I'm not sure. I had thought about breaking it up into just using the beads. But the design is so nice that I didn't have the heart to take the beads off of the pieces. I was thinking that I would use it as embellishments on whatever but now you have me thinking about making a piece featuring those beaded designs.
Beautiful! Each time you changed it I though that's it! Really liked each look. This helped me to see that I have permission to change my work and not to feel locked in. Thanks
Yes! The thing I had to overcome is what others said. For instance, when someone said to me they liked the first stage best, I had to resist the feeling that I had made a mistake in changing it. The first stage was beautiful but for me it wasn’t done. Art is a process - and what happens happens. (And I like that my heart is also changed for the better along the way too.)
@@KMF3 Well, not right now. When I have a piece that I keep needing to change, I’ve discovered that that means there’s probably no way to make it better. It’ll stay on the wall until I get an inspiration as to what could possibly help it.
That was so fun to watch. Thank you!
I’m glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for taking the time to comment!
I like it in the lighter form. It will be interesting to see where you finish with this.
Thanks for your comment! I'm a little scared to even touch it ... . But if I get a blast of inspiration, I'll let everyone know how I altered it.

Thanks for your great comment! … I do have some of that material left, lol!

Oh thanks for saying so!! It’s strange how insecure we can be when we reveal our internal creativity. Part of this life I guess. ❤❤

Right, I figure some artistic person already took the time to design the bead formations, might as well incorporate that.

Art has a mind of it's own, no doubt. The best we can do is listen and follow directions. : )
Very well said! Thanks for your comment!!
I definitely like the bolder colors
I hear you!
I love your ART it is Beautiful!!
Thank you again!
That is a huge board
Yes, I wanted to do something that was wider, so …
Did you sell it? For how much and where?
No, this is my hobby … most of my textured pieces don’t sell, but maybe one day. Running out of room on my wall, so I hope so!
@@dorothealeblancart I think you should try to sell your artwork
@@KMF3 I do show some of my work at a small gallery in a small town … but it’s a lot of uncomfortable work for me to promote my art.
I really liked it before you added texture
LOL! This is one HUGE ongoing experiment and experience!
@@dorothealeblancart are you still working on it?
