Yeah ... quick reaction definitely doesn't mean lazy. This is definitely a format to keep; edits coming in for a quick kick, nothing you don't need, but everything you do. For whatever reason, I really liked a lot of the way you explained your reasoning on this one ( _Put some dirt over it, man. Agreed!_ )
A quick reaction to _Vices & Virtues - Deluxe Edition_ would be very welcome.

I wanna talk about the production of the synth because that’s what I really Love about Jon Bellion. Those moments of the song where you just make that face nasty kick or snare or even when the last chorus or hook comes in and there’s bass or a different synth that’s added that just melts your brain.

In the song three thirty. The lyrics are terrible. He keeps saying how would he fit so many messages in 3 minutes and 30 seconds, but half of the song is just him.... Complaining about he he could fit so many messages in 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
So lyrically that was terrible, and all the messages in that thing was either cringy or cliche

    • @HS_521

@@randomcommenter6734 Three thirty is energetic, it definitely gives me some like dopamine. And that's why I like that song, people complain about the high pitched noises...but like, people have different dopamine triggers. The one thing I'll say is that the fact that the song is so stretched out that it's only meaning is to state that it is 3 minutes and 30 seconds, and the slow Ed Sheeran part is really bad to me. But I still enjoy em

I’m incredibly open to people disliking things I like or having differing opinions, but your opinions have no basis lol and I get that these are your opinions, but you frame it like the album sucks in an objective way. If you don’t like it, say you don’t like it. But as a musician, he is so talented. He is incredibly educated in music. He’s written music and produced for many many mainstream artists, and even if you don’t like something, clearly millions of other people do. Talented musicians like what he’s doing, millions of fans like what he’s doing, and you frame the album like it’s objectively bad haha this video just feels close minded. If you dislike music, as a music review channel, I really expect to see actual thought put into WHY. Specifically what about it is bad? Just saying that it’s bad and it’s trash and it’s not aesthetically pleasing lol yeah, cool. Why? When you don’t explain yourself, the review comes across as close minded, uneducated, and judgmental for the sake of being judgmental. But it’s whatever lol

You were pretty dismissive from the start you wernt even open to understanding and liking his style of music his music isn’t pop it’s indie pop a completely different genre. There is a lot of different meaning behind his songs and I think you didn’t get it wit 80’s films and he is the same .You are entitled to your opinion though and I respect it. But just a little note if you were to look more into Jon and maybe some of his acoustic covers you would appreciate his music more

Brad Taste in Music I see what you mean, honestly this was the first time I had heard someone NOT like some of Jon’s music and it was kind of surprising but then after the first two songs I realized that you wernt just bashing all the songs just because

No lie. When I first heard Guillitine my then 5 year old niece and sister were in the room watching the music video with me and I asked my niece if she was singing half way through the song; she was like "no". Lmao that "E" kept fucking me up when I heard it and I still think about that incident when I listen to it. Song is still S-tier though

Back in 2016 I used to only like New York Soul ii and Guillotine off this whole album. I had similar complaints to this. However over time Jon Bellion has became one of my favorite artists.
There’s a few things this guy doesn’t seem to get. these songs aren’t meant for the radio they are basically passion projects for Jon. He’s always said he would pick faith over his reputation, which is probably why the only song this guy likes is All Time Low seeing as it’s the most made for radio song Jon has probably ever done. That also leads into the fact he mentions his faith all the time, but that’s what’s important to him, if you don’t like it that’s fine but it only further shows how these songs are for him and not others. As far as the actual sounds in his songs yeah they are bass heavy but so is the majority of east coast rap and boom bap which has been major influences for him. All brad seems to mention is the baselines but doesn’t care to mention the actual production in the rest of the songs which is really my favorite part of Jon Bellion
Also not to mention that since this guys likes the made for radio music, Jon probably wrote or produced his favorite hits

Unpopular opinion, I personally think "The Human Condition" is one of the best albums ever made, but this review was hillarious😂😂😂

I would've rather see Jon Bellion make a rap album... New York Soul (Part 2) is honestly the best track on the album in my opinion..

This album was okay, even some of my favorite songs didn't make it to my playlist though. And you explained exactly why! Like New York soul pt.ii for example, I couldn't put my finger on why it was pretty good but not "fantastic" and it was definitely the copy and paste chorus. Ruined it for sure. I think the highlight of the album was the closer, I loved how it implemented bits and pieces from the prior songs, I found it quite beautiful. But yeah lots of missed opportunities, I'd give it a bronze shrug.

I listen to Jon for the production. Mainly cause he makes RUclips videos making songs and I love watching the process. I love Jon. He has a lot of bad moments but there’s always a of genius sprinkled in. It’s like 72 % meh - bad and 28% genius. Can’t believe you didn’t listen to blaque keys verse

Way to pretend to know production. I don't typically leave negative comments, but you are literally the one and only person I have come across that hasn't appreciated the production and attention to detail in this artist. Your channel is embarrassing, not this album.
