it's so interesting to see how Super Mario Bros 2 is so much different from the rest of the franchise, it would be so cool if they remastered it/remade it in a similar fashion to how they remade link's awakening
its bc it was just a redesign of a japanese game called doki or something its funny bc in the end of mario 2 they reveal that the whole game was just mario's dream
Even better, Nintendo should add it (and both versions - the 1993 SNES All-Stars remake, and the NES version) to (a video game Nintendo should consider, now that we’re finally in 2023) ‘Super Mario Maker 3’ (I’ve seen what Pokeys would look like in - both NES games - the first Super Mario Bros game, and Super Mario Bros 3). As well as seeing what Rocket Engines would look like in both versions (the 1993 SNES All-Stars remake, and the NES version) of Super Mario Bros 2, we’d get to see Autobombs in the first NES Super Mario Bros game, the NES game Super Mario Bros 3, and the SNES game Super Mario World. Who thought that, in the 2010s (now last decade), we’d be seeing Rocket Engines in the first NES Super Mario Bros game, and in the SNES game Super Mario World? We’d additionally be seeing Phantos in these two NES games - the first Super Mario Bros game and Super Mario Bros 3, and in the SNES game Super Mario World, and items in (again, both versions - the 1993 SNES All-Stars remake, and the late 80s NES version) Super Mario Bros 2 like Donut Lifts (likewise, who thought that - again, last decade - the 2010s, we’d be seeing Donut Lifts in the first NES Super Mario Bros game, and in the SNES game Super Mario World?) I bet fans are still waiting to see castle, ghost house, airship and underwater stages, in (both versions - the 1993 SNES All-Stars remake, and the NES version) Super Mario Bros 2 (when we never thought we’d be seeing ghost house or airship levels in the first NES SMB game, ghost house levels in the NES game SMB3, or airship levels in the SNES game Super Mario World). By having castle levels in (both 1993 SNES All-Stars and NES versions) SMB2, it would mean there’d now be lava in (both versions of) that game (when, and in both versions of that game, there was only quicksand), and I’m aware the second Super Mario Maker game has desert levels for the first NES SMB game, and the SNES game Super Mario World, meaning both games now have quicksand, as well as lava (the NES game SMB3 has lava *and* quicksand).
Choco Mountain doesn't strike me as a desert level. I mean, it's in the name... Choco Mountain. I know deserts can have mountainous areas, but this one just sticks out. There's really nothing about it that suggests a desert. Otherwise liked it, though.
I agree. SMW doesn't have any of the standard themed worlds in the series except grassland (Yoshi's Island and Donut Plains) and sky (Twin Bridges). The other worlds are themed around mountains (Choco Island), forests (Forest of Illusion), caves (Vanilla Dome and Valley of Bowser), and miscellaneous (Star World and Special Zone)

SM64 DS is released in 2004, not in 2002.
My favorites levels here
Chocolate Island is a mountain-themed world, pal. There are no desert levels in Super Mario World. -_-
You do know deserts CAN have mountains, right.
Super Mario Land has the most desert stages in that game!
Is it just me or are Mario 64’s pokeys so creepy they just give u a weird vibe smile
Will you make a video of the evolution of fire snake and flame chomp?

Dry Dry Desert is also a desert level in Paper Mario (2001).
Only mainline mario games
then you forgot every other paper mario game as well

Super Mario Land has more desert stages around the world in Egypt.
Good video my baby friend NintendoBase 😘💕❤️💝.

Bcus the background is a pyramid and palm trees
The birabuto kingdok, the first world of super mario land, is based of ancient Egypt, wich is a desert country,so it counts as a desert level.
